It’s too late to do much for next year
From November 1 we can hopefully make some moves for 2026

Contracts don't mean alot tbh if someone wants to leave or a club decides it needs cap room they will make it happen take the Knights for example fire sale on alot of experienced players so they can get under the cap for next year apparently

Eels will be the same since they have a new coach coming in.

then you'll have every team that doesn't win the GF do an off season review to see how they can go better in 2025

Our whole cap is totally out of balance
That can’t be fixed in one off season
But fingers crossed we can make a couple of small moves

it's not.

in fact we've got a solid foundation to work with.

our biggest issue is trying to improve our depth players. we may need to rely on them in 2025 if we get a similar debilitating casualty ward.

Looks like Marcelo Montoya is on the move from the wahs.

Think he's ok as a winger... not exactly a meter eater though. Apparently he's an excellent squad man for morale.

It does show that a few first graders are going to start getting taps on the shoulder.... wonder if our R&R will actually be active though

Yeah read on Twitter not long ago that Ricky and Corey had buried the hatchet. He’ll be staying now.
 
Clifford is one to keep an eye on.

Cowboys extended him for the '25 season, but Duffy is highly rated at the club and seen as their future 7. If Black isn't showing signs of being ready to make the step up in '26, I would be looking at Clifford if he keeps improving.
