Madden needs to move for his own sake... he's at least 4th in line for a halves spot this year, and next year Black will start to get into the mix, because broncos will want to start getting experience into him.
Billy is showing that he's a first grader at hooker, but has versatility to play in the halves as well... so he provides great squad depth.
Madden is a better half than Billy, but when you're talking about depth players and squad players... Billy is likely fine to be a 3rd/4th half even if Reynolds can't be squeezed in.

I’m not convinced with Paix just yet but I think the Kobe train has left the station.
He’s a low range first grader at best on the past two season’s performances.
So disappointed as when he first came into the team he looked so promising.

I think Kobe can still be something, but he needs a club that will allow him to be a big minute starting lock.
We just don't need that with Patty and we don't get enough value out of playing him for 40mins a game.
The rotation just doesn't work for him here when we have Patty and Payne playing 60+minutes a game... Kobe joining them for big minutes isn't needed when you have Willison needing minutes off the bench and BTK soon to come.
If Kobe could play second row he'd provide a lot more value to us.

Are the titan's paying $1m of Fifita's contract, because that's about the only way we bring him in whilst also keeping Cobbo and Reynolds

Yeah I know, its an issue but that's where losing Staggs likely comes in. If we are going to have an overpaid high profile lazy player who can pull a game out every so often, I'd rather Fifita.

I'm getting rid of Cobbo and Staggs if it gets us Fifi IMO. Staggs is great defensively, but hasn't done much with the ball in hand for a while and could easily be replaced by Anderson with minimal damage to the side (look at what Madge has gotten out of Shiba this year, for example). Cobbo is probably gone to a side coping that they can play him at FB.
We need a gun edge forward more than any other position. I also suspect that Madge could turn Fifi into an absolute animal like he's done with Haas.
