He is definitely signed for 2017 but nothing official about 2016. Tim Gavel a journo with the Canberra times tweeted that after getting Tapine early they will realise TPJ this year, but has been nothing official.

According to Chris Garry no one as we have room in the cap still for this year

How will that work. We can't have 26 players in our top 25. We may not lose a player from the club but someone would have to get bumped from the nrl squad wouldn't they.

It's called your top 25. You can have larger squads. Additional players aren't counted towards the top 25 cap.
