I know mate. already conceded with priddis. Folau was more individual highlights, plus he had Lockyer with him. His world beating feats came in union in my opinion. I prefer team performances which is why I hold 2015 so highly.

Great attitude and character, but injury prone. Depends on cost. If cheap then yes.

Kevvie really needs to get into Brent Naden's ear as soon as Nov 1 hits. Apparently Penrith have not even spoken to him yet about extending his contract beyond next year. Cleary seems to have gone a bit cold on him, judging by the way he used him on the bench over the past 2 games. As soon as he got on the field last night, he lifted the team with his energy and efforts.

He could be the strike centre we are missing and would compliment Staggs beautifully into the future.

defence is all about attitude ... you can teach a gun attacker to defend much easier than a spud attacker how to attack

walters on the big sports breakfast yesterday seem to think bird will make his choice soon as to if he wants to leave or stay,hopefully that means we wont be chipping in for his salary and that he will have to ask for a release to move back to sydney.

If he goes off to Sydney (even at no cost to us) I’ll feel kinda violated by the guy. We’ve paid god knows how much for him to sit and rehab his injuries not once, but twice. And all we get in return is a see you later!

Having said that he’s exactly the sort of ‘money for nothing’ attitude we don’t want around this club and especially our up and coming hopefuls. So if we’re not forced to pay anything I’d be more than happy to be shot of him and use his reported $950K to sign a couple of decent fit and healthy guys who want to play footy.

It highlights an obvious downside to signing players from the Sydney area, most will want to return at some point and it may not necessarily suit our needs. I know Lazzo, Johns and a few others have stuck around, but I’d say they were the exception more than the norm.
