I've not heard of this Sydney Morning-Herald. What position does old Sid play? Hopefully he's a gun prospect!

He probably had to pay for the uberSort of, they never had him so they didn't stuff up keeping him but they certainly stuffed up getting him. I said at the time they told him to catch an Uber in and don't tell dad about our meeting.
Sam told Ben and when compared to Easts taking Ben and Kylie down to Sydney and showcasing where he would live and how they would look after him- decision was easy. Trying to get a 16 year old to sign a deal without his dad didn't go well.
This is the club we've becomeBoth of them would be cheap and likely offer a bit of upside potential for the money with very little risk.
He was probably on his dad's Uber account anyway.. considering he just turned 18 this year he would've been like 16/17 when they tried to get him to come in and sign.He probably had to pay for the uber
Pretty cheap really....$7.50 a piece from our $15 left in the bankHehe yeah most likely will happen. I just have a feeling both of them will want to much money if they are forced out and I'd prefer Koala.
They make the 3 stooges look competentHe was probably on his dad's Uber account anyway.. considering he just turned 18 this year he would've been like 16/17 when they tried to get him to come in and sign.
Fucking imbeciles in the recruitment and retention department... how does Nolan even have a job after that kind of debacle.
We're meant to be a development club and this us how we propose to deal with juniors coming through.

The jerseys are clean...never usedWe would almost have them until we throw in some left over jerseys from this year, no one wants that, so they declined.

Well he does offer one very important thing which is that he can actually play Centre and we are horrendously thin in that area going into 2021.I just don't want to be desperate enough to sign every player coming off contract. I don't think Hunt offers anymore than Kennar.
Like I said, your local park cricket club recruits more professionally down at the local shopping centre than the Broncos have managed. He was probably on his dad's Uber account anyway.. considering he just turned 18 this year he would've been like 16/17 when they tried to get him to come in and sign.

If Addo Carr and Vunivalu and Tino are going then they shouldn't need to let anyone goAgreed, but if they have to let someone walk who would it be

That's what a premiership will dothere is now talk that Addo-Carr may see out the final year of his contract
I thought Hunt was good in 2019. Base deal I would take him tooI'd take Tuala on a base deal, yep. Hunt, nope.
I'm sorry, but the more I think about this Sam Walker situation the more it just infuriates me that this isn't a bigger deal.
Let's be clear here, if what @1910 said is true, and I have no reason to doubt it, then the people charged with recruitment at the Broncos asked a literal CHILD to sneak out of the house and get in an Uber (how the **** was he supposed to pay for that being a minor with no legal way to hold an Uber Account) so that we could put what you'd presume was the first proper contract he'd ever seen in his entire life in front of him and ask him to sign it. Oh, and by the way, please don't tell your parents (who are also our former employees and still active in the industry ) so it can just be our little secret.
Are these people serious? How are they still employed here? What the **** did they think was going to happen if he actually went through with it once he got home and his parents found out?
Honestly, this is the kind of shit I'd expect from the folks at the Catholic Church, not a professional ASX listed football club that turns over tens of millions of dollars a year and supposedly prides itself on player development and welfare.
Seriously, anyone who is still defending and making excuses for Paul White, Peter Nolan and anyone else who was involved in this decision really needs to have a good hard look at themselves.
