I don’t think you need to be in the army to understand that morale is important to a team of people.

And more to that, given there seem to be some pretty big rifts in the playing groups to the point some of them barely talk to each other, is he really managing them well? No I am not saying it is all his fault, I am asking is he really doing that great a job?

I doubt team unity is part of his role... Alfie probably has a bigger say in that than the football manager.

Team unity is the coach, captain and leadership group.

If they spot a rift it's their job to resolve it and set the standard
