Boyd is a pretty decent fullback, but I hate to see Robinson's name in our side. No offence to the bloke, but he just isn't up to NRL standard IMO.

this is where we need eastwod and parker to really step up and run off locky all night on the fringe.

If we can stop Ryles from offloading and stop their 2nd phase play Sowards kicking game wont be as effective.

I hate Robinson on the wing, but i have a feeling that Bennett will make some late changes and shift Boyd to fullback, move Robinson to center and leave Kemp on the wing

We'll be right, still think we can beat them. Moon will have his hands full in defence, but he was pretty strong against the warriors.

Worried about Carroll though, just hope he only needs a few weeks rest to fix his hamstring.

I'm generally fairly positive about our chances in any game, but when I look at that back 5 - which also includes Lead Boots Robinson - I just can't see much doing. Head says the Stains to continue their arsey run against us and win by 12+, though i'd love a huge performance from our weakened side. Can't stand losing to this mob.

The backline I wouldn't mind seeing

1. Kemp
2. Yow Yeh ( he is playing well for the under 20's, he has the height and build to match it with Morris)
3. Boyd ( we need Boyds excellent reading in defence for us to have any chance)
4. Moon
5. Manihera

But no doubt Bennett will probably go with this

3. Robinson ( Gasnier will carve him up)

I really can't see us winning this game, I hate losing to St George. I can't stand when Channel 9 has the fucking cameras on Nathan Brown when his team is beating the Broncos. He always has that fucking smirk on his face that I would love to knock the **** off his face

It's all about the pack if u ask me, yes the backs are young and new to it all, but with the halves we have, if the pack does it's job the halves put the back line in place to do the job. Simple catch & pass, run to the line and place the ball, but not if the pack gets bitch slapped again or gives away too much ball with penalties and dropped ball.

I agree with broncos08, i think Yow Yeh has earned a call up with some impressive performances with the u20's.

Agreed, and that's how they will be playing it on Friday. We've still got a pretty strong pack, and on the back of Lockyer/Ennis/Wallace we should be able to post points.

Soward out is a big blow for the dragons, he is their creator and most of their spark comes off him. Brett Morris isnt such a biggie because they can bring the Big Dell in and shift Josh Morris or Nightingale to fullback. But that might not happen either seeing as Gasnier has been playing there lately, which is absolutely silly IMO.

I think we should be able to win this game now with Soward out, they dont look anywhere near as dangerous

This is very good news. Minus Soward's kicking game, they are not as potent. And Morris is great as well.
