Broncos V Sea Eagles (SPOILERS)

god how many times did we have 2 in a tackle to have those 2 be the last players up from the ground.

marsh needs to get his ass back into gear and find some form.

Ennis and eastwood have been disappointing in defence.

the players out are no excuse - it's our 3rd crap second half in a row. It's just lucky we could get away with it against souths and tigers.

The whole team was crap in all aspects of the game. A few players played well individually namely K. Hunt and S Thaiday. We were due for a lose and today we got a good wake up call. Next week against the Sharks will be interesting without our origin players.

The Majority of the forward pack has really slackened off over the last few weeks as well. We also need to get Stagg out of 5/8th and give a young guy a run in the 6.

that reflects the score line IMO.

Yup far too many missed tackles, Stagg missed 6, Eastwood and Ennis 5, Wallace 4

To be fair to Marsh, he's been out for a long time.

Maybe this is the thrashing we need to regain some pride and commitment.

I hope we learn from this debacle, unlike in previous years.

And Stagg is no 5/8.

Indeed, and those missed tackles coincide with the amount of offloads we've conceded today, it's as simple as that.

As simple as them gaining over 400 metres over us.

Absolutely disgraceful performance.

No desire, no determination.

We rolled over and died.

Tell why Stagg is playing five eighth? He was a passenger.

Very disappointing effort today from most of the side - Hunt and Kemp were our best I though but we really lacked the intensity and flair we have shown in recent weeks. I know we had a few experienced guys out but wouldn't that be an incentive to try harder to prove you can do it without them? Can't believe someone didn't have a go at Josh Perry when he flopped on Wallace - Hodges would have if he was out there. We just didn't play like a team today and really lacked leadership - I think Sammy T really struggled with the captaincy and it really affected his game today.

Maybe a few of the boys who were getting all the wraps in the media have been reading them all week rather than doing what we need them to do?

Awesome flashback to 2003/2004 today!

I think that is ONE crucial issue.

As for Hodges, Lockyer and Tunsa being out - does that mean we only have 3 class players (+ Hunt, when he's in the mood....)

Reminds me of a post about the number of class players the Bunnies have [icon_ee

Yeah I agree and also all the rumours about contracts for next season would be playing on there minds. Make your mind up sign a contract and start playing properly.

You guys are being way to harsh on the boys...

I think it's case of them being fatigued, all the sides go through it at some stage, we looked very tired out there today and missing those key players didn't help either.

I don't think it was lack of effort, enthusiasm whatever, if your buggered no amount of enthusiasm is going to get you over the line. They can't turn it on every week, no matter how fit they are

True, so much media makes us sound we're a dog's breakfast with our upcoming roster - but then there's still professionalism and commitment to your club and fans please.

Ah.... why would we be "buggered" ?

We're no different to any other club, and this is the top grade.

I agree on some of your points but to say they can honestly be buggered is a load of crap. They had a 7 day turn around ffs. They just weren't up for the game IMO. It is a matter for the Sports Psychologist IMO.

And, as you said, getting contracts signed sealed and delivered.

Because like I said they can't do it week in week out, especially not the way we've been playing. The Roosters went through the same thing a few weeks ago.
