Broncos V Sea Eagles (SPOILERS)

Wouldn't be surprised to see them use both, in some way shape or form.

I'm waiting for all of the anti-fans to rush in and tell me how much better Slater's been this year. Sure, he's the form fullback of the comp and there's no doubting that.

But I still think Hunt is safer under the high ball, good in defence and has a strong attacking game too. I think he's one of those players who is overrated by many, and also under-rated by many, when it comes down to it. I don't know if he'll ever be a fullback, like Lockyer, who is ALWAYS labelled as far and away the best custodian year in, year out.

In terms of effort and consistency, however, there's no one even near Hunt.

And he's been like that ever since his debut 4 years ago.

Slater on the other hand....[/quote:2n7431y5]

And Bowen, too.

Don't get me wrong, those two are AMAZING when they're on their game. The problem is, they aren't always on their game.

As a Queenslander, Thurston worries me as much as he'd worry you. He can be brilliant, or he can be crap. There's rarely an in between.

yeah exactly, the bowen bandwagon last year was the same as the slater bandwagon this year....Hunt is the 100% best option...put Slater on the bench and bring him in when their forwards are tired. Like they did with Bowen in Game 3 last year.

Anti-fans?!? I love it, I'm using that terminology from now on.

Are the Anti-Fans based on their ship; the Death Star? Members of the Anti-Fans; are they recognised by placing the title "Darth" before their names...eg. instead of Stu Lord, one would be known as Darth Frank??

I hope this isn't a preview of what it will be like with Henjak coaching.

[icon_lol1.

You win the prize for being the first to blame Henjak.

I am betting Henjak has been coaching the side since WB decided to leave.
icon_thumbs_u I agree...pretty sneaky having our Coach running onto the field and tell the boys what to do in the guise of the trainer [icon_evillaugh ... better than Toovey.

I thought Wally tried/played hard, he cops some big hits every week and continues to play hard (that dirty elbow to the head just made him angry & dangerous)...he's tough! Awesome! PJ Marsh had a bit of a shocker. KHunt was awesome even if he did have a couple of mistakes. I loved his kick to Kemp...that was sweet.

BTW, what was the crowd?

Crowd was supposed to be 27 000 plus but I couldn't see that, I wonder if they count season tickets ( no shows )sold in that number.

I haven't watched the replay yet :D
But did listen to it in the car.
It sounded like Karmichael had a great game
Why isn't he captain? Wasn't there talk of him
being captain after Lockyer?

That's what I would like to know. Why was Sammy captain? I would have thought Karmichael would have been captain for sure. [icon_shru

Nope. They've decided K isn't ready for captaincy duties. Not this season.

Does anyone know when mark Bryants dangerous throw was during the game.
I remember seeing it and thinking it was a bit ordinary but my view from the Western stand wasn't that good.
Anyway I thought it was worse than a grade 1 at the time and I don't remember it going on report.

Didn't get put on report but clearly should have been as it was obvious even on the big screen he had his hand between the legs. Even gave himself up and put hand up.

Yep thats what I thought at the time, its only been charged as a grade 1 and I was hoping to look at it again but don't want to watch everything.
