Kemp is our Luke Burt/Michael Robertson, decent if not at times good but never great.

Hmmm, bit early to be saying that, don't you think?

Kemp was excellent in 2008, last year not so much. I'm happy to write it off though.

I think people need to lower their expectations and forget about all the hype when they discuss Kemp. He's suffered a fairly serious injury early on this season, so it could take a while for him to get back up to speed.

Yeh he was terrible but you don't see anyone talking him up to be an outstanding winger like they do with Kemp, who is our 3rd best winger.

Nobody has said Kemp played well on Friday night. IMO Kemp has proved more than Yow Yeh and Winterstien so Kemp is our best winger.

lol pretty sure that match winning try against the cowboys in round one is a massive glimpse of talent!! Kemp has a habit of scoring match winning trys.

Yes, from about mid-season onwards Kemp was great BUT to confuse form with class and talent is silly. Even when he was in that type of form, he was extremely average at fullback.

That's not to de-ride Kemp, I do believe he's a better player than Winterstein who's still very much a mixed bag to me. If we were at full strength, I'd much rather Kemp outwide, he is a game breaker.

To me, he's yet to solifidy himself as a great. To do so is really unfair on him.

That's not to say our other wingers are greats either - they're not but at least everybody is sensible about them.

Frankly I'm amazed Winterstein has avoided criticism. Sure, scored a thousand tries last year but 999 of them he just had to finish, just like people bag Kemp. And defensively he's no better. And Winterstein doesn't go looking for the ball like Kemp and Yow Yeh do. I rate Winterstein the 3rd winger.
