Terrible matchup for what will be a tired Brisbane team on a short turnaround imo. The Titans ask so many questions of your defense in and around the rucks via Nathan Friend and Scott Prince.

Brisbane will need a minor miracle to win on friday night imo.

Great first half, almost our best all season imo, but terrible, terrible 2nd half. Glenn and Winterstein continue to impress in attack, but winterstein seems ridiculously slow for a winger with tubby lil lyon smashing him a few times in foot races. Kenny was good, as was beale on debut. Parker was our best imo

I have to agree with IronBroncos. Why the **** do we persist with those inside balls, mainly to thaiday and kenny? Until 10 mins from the end, its all lockyer had done all game. No-one is falling for them, and they just put pressure on the receiver as 9 times out of 10 they get smashed immediately.

Finally, IMO, steve michaels is now up there with Stu kelly as the worst player we have ever fielded. He was absolutely pathetic today. Lyon made him look so inept it was almost laughable. He HAS to go. He cost us today's game with his inability to even slow Lyon down. Parker had to tackle him to save us once, winterstein another. Michaels MUST go with folau into centre and yow yeh, hoffman or fucking anyone to replace michaels out on the wing.

Pretty much the type of performance I have come to expect from the Broncos this season.. Come out all guns blazing then get complacent after taking an early lead and get run down at the end of the game. Broncos are playing poorly as a team but are being saved by individual performances. I don't know how long Henjak will persist with Michaels I think he has had his fair share of game time this season. Good to see Marsh back in first grade now if only Henjak would play Taylor I think we can get our best team on the paddock.

Nine want at least one Qld team to feature in FNF seeing as there's two games now, so we've got a 1 in 3 chance straight up. When you couple that with the above-average ratings we produce for them, then they'll generally pick us for Friday nights just about any time they get the chance these days.

Don't want to sound like a whinger here but we were massively hard done by in the refereeing stakes and it really changed the game.

1. Manly scored a try off a forward pass, from Matai to Bani, Bani was standing in front of him when it was passed. How the **** was that missed?

2. Jamie Lyon's "try" with his torso - anyone who watches Rugby League knows that was not a try.

3. Manly knock on on their own 20 metre line, Glenn or Teo picked it up to play on and the ref called it back - why? What was the reasoning other than to give Manly a chance to re-set their defensive line.

That's just 3, there was lots of little niggling decisions made too where Manly definitely got the rub of the green.

Positive - PJ Marsh was on fire. Where was he in the second half? As soon as Gorrell was on the field we turned to shit. Marsh had us rolling forward nicely and was a handful out of dummy half.

Israel in the centres.... not much of an impact, although he spent a lot of time on the wing did he even play much in the centres?

Farken fed up with Steve Michaels, he is a massive liability. Take him out to Alice Springs and leave him there.

Very disappointed with the way we just let Manly back into it. Where is the desire FFS? Player's were walking hands on hips, no one chasing the kick, etc.

Credit to Winterstein did brilliantly to score those two tries. Folau as well had a hand in two.

I liked the fact that Lockyer was running the ball a bit in the last twenty minutes, very elusive.

PJ Marsh was excellent, Gorrell came on and as gUt said, we lost pretty much all momentum.

technically, lyons try was fine. you cant knock on with ur torso, but u can ground the ball with it. Its a horrible rule, and needs to be changed so if u can ground the ball with ur torso, u can also knock it on. personally id rather them just say you cant ground the ball with anything but ur arms.

Can't see us beating the Titans, maybe Tigers, Storm (are starting to find form) , Bulldogs, maybe Sharks, maybe Eels (although they always seem to find form against us), Warriors (will want payback) good chance we will be on the same points coming into round 19 unless there is a majot turn around.

Doesn't channel 9 pick the friday games and one of the games has to feature a QLD team? Surely the broncos would pull more viewer audience than either the cowboys or titans.
