Three debutants!

Tagged the next andrew johns...Media Hype, every junior on debut is the next Folau, Johns and lockyer lol.
Anyway It'll be good to see him get a run in FG I assume Marsh will be at 6(should be at 9 IMO) so I guess it's a competent halves combo well sharks combo isn't much better.

Hopefully Tupou is called up to replace an injury, the more they get selected the better :)

THIS IS THE CHANCE TO SHINE! I hope Broncos turn on a good performance and win convincingly.

Who is Williams? Has anyone seen him about?
Isn't copley a centre, not a fullback

Plays for the Central Comets, did the whole pre-season with Broncos and impressed enough to earn a contract.

Utility, mostly back-rower, can play centre and 5/8 at a stretch as well. Good footwork and skilful.

Dale Copely at Full Back is a worry, I kept an eye on him once when he played there for the Under 20's which would've been Round 4 against the Dragons and his positional play was woeful and lead to a number of rookie mistakes. In short, Hoffman should've been there and if Henjack was so keen to blood Copely he should've played him on the centres.

I can't believe people are comparing Ben Hunt to Andrew Johns! Not when he's an identical clone of Cooper Cronk.

As someone pointed out, Williams is a solid utility who specialises in the backrow but can play centre. Good attitude but I have my doubts whether he's anymore than a fringe player.

Hope the boys play well though and our senior players stand up.

That would have to be one of the youngest backlines Ever. Still a good forward pack though, they need to step up and lead the way this week.

Sharks without Gallen and Barrett makes things a little better, but this could really go either way. The forwards will hold their own, and that backline is QUICK so I think we're in with a shot...

Honestly i highly doubt thats the side we will field on the weekend, surely there will be a few reshuffles.

I don't think we'll field a team at all on the weekend.

We play on Monday.

/dad joke!

They may be quick but I doubt they will see much ball. Henjack will have everyone going from half even more than normal.
He just seems to be repeating what we have done over the last few years, starting off with plenty of variation and width then for some reason we get uber conservative and dish up the bash and barge followed by dummy half running.

I think DT needs to be in the team without our Origin stars. I know he is going to souths but I think we have lacked any impact off the bench and I think he can give us impact. Great to see Hunt and Copley get a run hopefully Copley plays awesome so we can see the back of Michaels...

the last few games Taylor has played for us he has been ordinary at best. even with our origin stars out we still have all but 1 of our forward pack available and ATM, i don't think Taylor deserves a spot...

I am a little concerned with some of the U20s players, such as Copely (as someone mentioned). U20s players are nowhere near the standard of Q cup or the NRL and absolutely no skill in defense. Why not Hoffman or Maneihera (sp?).

If he was anywhere where we need him to be I would agree with you, but he's been a waste of space the last few starts offering no more then 2 good hits and 10 shit minutes. ATM there is no point having him in the side, or any side, and you'd have to think the Rabbits would be doing these ones eusa_think

Just because you play in the U20s doesn't meant everyone that plays it is a bad defender. Hoffman is just back from injury and it's too early to rush him straight back into NRL. And Manihera isn't a fullback is he? Also is he still dual registered with us? Eitherway I don't think his defence can be any worse than KHunt's has been this year. Hewitt is unlucky to miss out.
