I'm really looking forward to seeing Issac Luke play live. He's brilliant. Forget Ennis! Sign Luke Broncos! haha

Please he is behind both our hookers - PJ & Ennis are much more talented

Despite some posters' opinions, I reckon Ennis will soon be on par with Smith and one of the best, with Marsh a very useful back-up utility.

Wow, thats a bold statement. Smith will end up being one of the great hookers of the modern game, Ennis is inconsistently (at this point) very good but you really think he has the ability to get where younger Cam Smith has already taken his game.

Younger as in he's done it earlier do you mean? Cause they are both 24. Which is plenty of time for Ennis to prove his worth.

He needs to play consistently in the top grade otherwise they are not going to get the value and potential out of him that he has!!!

So how much more first grade time does he need to prove himself? He played just about every game last year, and has played almost every game this year, still hasn't produced.

Agreed he has only played half the games this year, but that is because Taylor cant decide who is his best combination for some reason. When he is playing Ben is their best choice at 5/8, simply because he has a running, passing and kicking game. He also knows how to tackle, which is a lot more than the other halves at the club can currently do!

Why oh why did Taylor let Williams go!!

WIlliams can't even dislodge a makeshift halfback at Penrith.

Taylor is rapidly losing that credit he built up with Souths first finals appearances in years, he should have picked a halfback combination and stuck with it until Wing came back.

I think this is a real danger game for us.

Win and it will be like 'meh' because we're expected to beat Souths, lose and it could be the beginning of a mid season demise. I hope they boys can get it together and beat them, and beat them well. Not just a couple of good plays and going through the motions. But, we have a great team on paper - there's no reason we shouldn't smash them.

Can't wait to see Locky!!

Yeh he is struggling, but he is in the same boat as Rogers is in at Souths. Joey only played 2 games before he was punted, when the whole reason for him going to Penrith in the first place was to play halfback!! Not reserve grade like he is at the moment.

I agree with you in that Taylor should have stuck to one combination from round 1 when Wing got injured until he comes back in a month or so, they may have won a game or two by now if that had been the case!

INcase taylor reads this can we stop giving him ideas till after this weekend :P

I also think that it's got a lot to do with the team around you, and also Ennis didn't have many opportunities last season, or the one before.

With time, and a good combination around him, I think he does hyave the potential to excel consistently.

Again ... I like to remember his performance against the Kniggots - imo, every bit as good as Smith could have done.

I agree, he definitely has the potential too. Don't think he will ever quite be at Cam Smith's level, but I think he'll get close.

We'll see of course - but I'd be happy with that!

I'd be happy if Ennis just plays as well as he has been lately, while cutting out a bit of the crap from his game (but not all of it, we haven't had a specialist niggler since Andrew Gee!!!).

Any further improvement to Ennis' game from here on in, IMO, would be a bonus.

I'm worried about this game now.

Souths will come out all guns blazing and with Isaac Luke back they're going to be pretty dangerous around the ruck.

The best available seats left are up in section 639 or something...looks like there's gonna be a big crowd woohoo!!! icon_thumbs_u

I'm excite.

Word around the campfire is that DT is going to be dropped from the 17.

What a hell for this time?

Stubborn old bastard, wish he'd leave already.

His stupid decisions stopped me trusting his decisions. I don't care is he's part of the royal family, he would sacrifice winning to make a point.

I'm sick of him the sooner next season begins the better.

Well you can agree with his calls, but some of us simply can't, and can't wait for him to head off.

Don't get me wrong, he's been a huge part of the club, but it's time for a change, and I think that change was a few years ago. 2006 or not.
