Broncos Vs. Storm *SPOILER*

Unfortunately for you, your 'yap' reminds me of a 24 hour convenience store. Please go on your "be back in 20 minutes" break and never come back again please.

I don't cry over footy games, but tonight I was close, and I will never go closer. Absolutely devestated. Sometimes when you go to games like that and lose, as long as you see a good game you come home pretty happy, not tonight. Absolutely gutted.

The highs and lows of Rugby League have been well and truly summed up in the Broncos' 2008 season. The magic win over Parra, golden point v Titans, but to lose like that (and to the biggest bunch of fuckwits that has ever pulled on a football jersey) is just devestating.

Not going to blame anyone for the loss really, Sims made a shocking error but there were plenty of other drop balls as well. Still, would've been nice to just grind out that set and drive it into touch.

As Locky said, FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just numb. I don't feel sadness or depression or anything. I just sat there well after the game finished completely stunned. We could have pinched a premiership tonight.

I need a few days I think to get over the loss. We turned up after a bad week off the field and that's the important thing. I wouldn't have been able to handle a belting. Still even though we left nothing on the field I can't shake that nagging thought that we just threw away another trophy because of bad handling. It was very uncharacteristic, especially in such a big game.

The sun will rise tomorrow morning, I'm looking forward to it!

I never want to see that game again .... ever ... just like those balmain blokes with the 89' grand final ...

Would have been fantastic to send off Wayne, TC and the rest of the departing Broncos with a win tonight but we just didn't control the ball well enough. Gee our defence was magnificent though - Bronco jerseys just kept turning up time and time again and the boys really had a dig for each other. The effort tonight to me shows what strength we have in our club (thanks to WB) and I hope that can continue in years to come.

Sure Ashton and Joel dropped some ball at crucial times but both guys impress me with their attitude and enthusiasm - a hard off season should hopefully see both of them better for us again next year. Real shame to see Locky and TC drop a lot of ball they would usually catch with their eyes closed. I hate to be negative after such a magnificent effort but Hodges - WTF!!!! His dummy half running used to be a weapon, now it is just a waste of a tackle and some of the errors he made in the play the ball were under 7's mistakes.

Going to be a very different looking team next year (very sad to see Denan, Darius, Hannant and Eastwood going) but I think the way we lost tonight will sting some of the boys for quite a while so hopefully they come out all fired up next year.

Great to see the crowd get behind K, Sammy and Darius tonight - I am sure that gave them a real lift. The crowd was awesome tonight - fantastic atmosphere.

As for the storm - they are a bunch of grubs and the game would be better of without the sh!t tactics they employ. How anyone can believe it when they say they do not coach that crap is beyond me. I hope Smith misses the rest of the season for that disgraceful display of grappling tonight and that the Sharks bundle them out next week. After what I saw tonight I am glad Crocker will never play for Qld again and some of the sh!t Slater dishes up is an absolute joke.

Well done Broncs on a great 2008 - looking forward to another successful year next year.

I'm with you Shark, try watching it with 2 Storm one-eyed supporters and see how your night would turn out...

Agree with Jeb, can't blame anyone in particular for that loss though many will.

Number of chances, 2 or 3 heldups, Locky in clear from Hodgo pass drops it, take the 2 from the free kick for late hit on Ennis, and game ends 16 all with smith to kick from out wide to win....clearly one that got away but we didn't score after the first 20 minutes apart from a penalty goal and they scored 3 so as hard as it is to say credit where credits due to them.

Come on the UNDER 20's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hodges sucks.

/Thread.

****ing agreed. He can't handle the pressure anymore. Has become pretty overrated.

Come on guys. We lost and are feeling the pain so I can guess I can understand the frustraton.

But we'll be back next year. Including Hodges. He screwed up yes but I'd hate to see our attack without him.

Hodges and Folau vs the opposition centres next year .... lmao !
