BTW, another thought. Even if Hodges manages to get fit enough to play this year, he relies heavily on his right foot step...hence why he prefers playing right centre.

BUT, it's his right achilles he fucked. And he would, naturally, be a bit tentative stepping off that foot coming back from injury.

So why not, if he is back for a few weeks of the season, play him on the left side, thus protecting him from needing to use that right foot step much if at all?

I cant see Folau being moved from right centre TBH. He is the strike weapon and unless hodges comes back 100% fit and firing i think he will have to play left centre. Thats if he does come back. I would consider swoping Yow Yeh to the left wing though and Winter to the right. Yow Yeh and Folau are our 2 best jumpers. makes sense to have a jumper either side of the field IMO. Though this time of the year you probally dont want to be making changes!!

As for Hodges, i hope he does come back and kills it. Not worth risking next season though if he isnt 100%!!!!

I think Kenny has been very good the last couple of games especially the tigers game. Cant beleive Setu has missed out. He has been awsome IMO. Where the hell has McGuire come from?? Played like two games all year?? I rate him as a player but surely Setu and Anderson would be in front of him at the moment!! I have to feel for Andersons, setu and sims. They have been very good the past few weeks IMO. I know setu and Anderson have had injuries but they should be in the side.

If hodges does get fit then what happens then. You can almost gaurantee Glen will be on the bench and so will Gillet. So we will be going into the game with two utilitie players and a halfback/hooker on the bench. which leave 1 lonely spot for a prop?? I know the whole hooker rotation is woking atm but i reckon four fowards on the bench would work even better. All the best hookers play 80mins. Ennis, Farah, Smith. McCollough has to learn to play 80mins otherwise the team is seriuosly disadvantaged!!!

What's with you and the 4 forwards? You're almost as obsessed as Coxy with Wallace! [icon_lol1.

Seriously, you're stuck in the time that any forward would be rooted after 10 mins on the pitch. Thaiday, Parker, Te'o and Gillett are all 80 minutes players nowadays, which means you only need to rotate the props, and for that purpose you don't need more than 2 props on the bench, leaving room for a utility (Hunt) and an impact player, such as Gillett.

Heh, was quite an amusing stoush. Basically, as usual, after the team was named someone said "Zomg, where's Hodges". I mentioned that it'd been reported he hadn't been recovering as planned and there was speculation he wouldn't be back.

Broncos arced up and said "that was speculation from a player from the 80s with no medical training" blah blah blah. I said "Well maybe the Broncos should answer questions from fans on here rather than spruiking banquet auctions and new jerseys etc etc".

They didn't like that, pointing out the banquet auction raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity, and that it's not up to them to answer unsubstantiated rumours. Hodges will be back when he's ready.

I said "Well at least now you've let people know, thank you". LOLZ

I love how Cartright just refuses to shift Bird to lock. Yes, I know it'd mean shifting Harrison to the 2nd row, Laffranchi to front row and Henderson to bench, but it would make their attack that much better.

Perhaps though you have stumbled across a Random Stuff game..."match the responses"...where people post random answers in different threads (only in Random Stuff) and they have to guess which thread it was meant for.

Could be fun.

So if Hodges comes back your saying one of either Glen or Gillet will miss out?? because if they continue to play a 2nd hooker and keep Glen and Gillet in the side 4 bench spots - 3 = 1 bench spot remaining!! 1 spot for a front rower. I'd rather have two front rowers on the bench instead of two 80min backrowers becuase our whole starting backrow plays 80mins!!!!

I'm not saying the bench doesnt work ATM im just suggesting that having Glen as the utility player who could play hooker for 20mins if need be would allow the Broncos to have Gillet and two front rowers on the bench. Hunt would have to be dropped for this to happen.

It doesnt matter ATM anyway, Hodges isnt playing this week!!
