Thought i'd start this topic now.

the team that should take the field:

1. Hunt
2. Winterstein
3. Glenn
4. Hodges
5. Folau
6. Lockyer
7. Wallace
8. Kenny
9. Marsh
10. Clinton
11. Thaiday
12. Te'o
13. Parker

14. McCullough
15. Sims
16. Taylor
17. Setu

T'eo went okay for mine.

Setu still has defence issues. There was one absolutly disgraceful effort that I saw that just disgusted me, think it was about midway through the second half.

yeah, i really rate Glenn. and i have said it before, but i prefer Folau on the wing. As much as i was a big fan of Michaels and have defended him all season, time for him to go to Q-Cup for a bit... but i do hope that he can get back to the from he was in last year, before his knee injury.

Anything will do me as long as it doesn't include Micheals, I was a huge fan of his last year, but now he has to go.

I mentioned having Glenn in the centres as well a couple of weeks ago, and got jumped for it :D. I still think it's the best option. Michaels is definitely a winger, not a centre, and this season so far has shown that.

The only thing Michaels has shown this season is that he should be in reserve grade, lol don't tell me you think winterstien should be dropped for Michaels? lol

1. Hunt
2. Winterstein
3. Folau
4. Hodges
5. Beale
6. Lockyer
7. Wallace
8. Kenny
9. Marsh
10. Clinton
11. Thaiday
12. Te'o
13. Parker

14. Glenn
15. Taylor
16. Sims
17. Setu

Have PJ play 80 mins, Glenn can fill in at hooker if PJ needs a rest. That way we can carry an extra forward as Glenn can play in the backrow if PJ can go the 80. That extra forward would help in tightening up our defence in the middle as its not crash hot ATM.

Give McCullough some time in Qld Cup IMO & Drop Gorrell altogether, He's been a complete passenger.

Beale, Yow Yeh or Michaels to fight out for the right wing spot... Michaels will do better using his pace to finish tries rather than trying to set them up.

+1. My only concern is the bench forwards. Sims, Taylor, Setu - all of which are iffy. I wouldn't want Wapau either. Probably leaves us no choice really.

He's a NSW player. If he fights the charge he will get off.

Broncos are in serious trouble this Friday night if they don't harden up in defence..

I thought Beale had a solid enough debut and should hold his spot in the 17. I'd be happpy to see any of the following combos.

2. Winterstein
3. Beale
4. Hodges
5. Izzy

or

2. Beale
3. Winterstein
4. Hodges
5. Izzy

or
2. Winterstein
3. Izzy
4. Hodges
5. Beale

From what I can gather Winterstein has been a centre for most of his junior career. And while it was only a trial, when he moved to centres in the trial vs Canberra, I was very impressed. He defended well, and twice he created space and put Yow Yeh away down the touch line.

I hope Beale can retain a spot he really impressed me on the weekend... he certainly has alot of confidence!

He's only facing a week, so it won't have any effect on his NSW playing

No, but selectors will want to look at him against the Broncos.

For mine, Folau to centre. Wing either Michaels, Yow Yeh or Beale.

Glenn is the ideal for the bench - and Taylor should be automatic for the bench as well.
