Geez, I can't believe TLL has a 16 year old kid already.
Next minute you'll be hearing about Xavier Coates or whatever son being chased after by 5 clubs.

New Zealander Marley Igasan has been brought over to Australia after signing with the Bronco's and will play CC Cup in 2023 for Burleigh.

He is a front row/second row who topped the tackle count in a recent Bronco's U16 match against the Cowboys.

**** sake, what is the go there? He will be behind Nanai and Luki where as at the broncos he’s only got capewell who is nearly at the end of his career and Riki who has by no means secured his spot in the team

relax. He is only 16, so can't play NRL for a couple of years at least. there is no guarantee he even gets to NRL level

Jamal Shibasaki. Either went to Cows or Roosters.

ah yeah. went to Cowboys.

if he is anything like his brother, won't be the biggest loss ever (we've got a pretty young backline as it is with some talent still coming through)

Jamal is cut from a different cloth. He's a beast that has the foot-work and balance of a five-eighth. He reminds me of a young Pangai Jr who very few can beat on his day.

Just like his old man, Kaiden is one of those prospects every club would be happy to have coming through.

It's the nature of the beast and if every 16-18 year old transfer was reported on you'd think even highly successful clubs were a shambles. Still, there's some cause for concern for a club that prides itself on junior development.

Can’t blame a 16 year old north qld kid signing for a North Queensland club when he has two years left of school up there. Smart decision to be closest to the resources which will develop his game. Shame but you can’t keep them all and would much rather lose them to a smart decision e.g. close to home than who is paying the most.

Bronco's youngster Jett Bryce has had a strong start to the 2023 MM Cup season with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls starting the opening two rounds at right second row.

He is a bit of a fire brand and sails a bit close to the wind on occasion. He is also MM Cup eligible next season.

So I guess he will be off to either the Dolphins, Storm or Roosters by this time next week. Absolute no point getting excited in our young guns, they just leave when a better offer comes along anyway.
