The game will not survive long term with 9 clubs in and around Sydney. Those clubs have the option to either succeed, move, merge or die. Simple.

That's the truth....plain and simple.

And, you know all these crisis meeting snad talk of how to keep our great stars that are apparently all running to Europe for cash???? Well, the lack of growth of the sport is what has caused this.

So basically, if your a tradionalist, who doesn't want the Sydney teams reduced, you can't complain about talent going elsewhere.

I can just see it now... with the Frogs and the Poms throwing squillions at our talent and class, we'll merger our clubs and end up with what - 4 teams in the NRL?

Yep - go the Tenterfield Tigers, the Tasmanian Devils, and the Port Arthur Panthers.

Why not face reality - League is not a growth game like Union or Euro Super League, nor is it special and unique to this country like AFL.

Let's all grow up. Today, money makes the world go around, the world go around ...

And the only thing that can defend a piss-poor sport like NRL - internationally speaking, are the tradionalists - like the Bunnies supporters, who get off their arses and fight for what they grew up with, love and believe in.
