I think Reed looked fitter in the final trial than he did last night. It's like he put on 10 kilos in that time. Not sure if that had anything to do with the injury.
 
I disagree with that. He looked just as heavy in the trial and played less game-time and yet was worse in that time.

Plenty of question marks on Reed. I thought he did a reasonable job shutting down Lyon most of the night, hopefully he can build on that.
 
Agreed. I certainly can't agree with people saying to drop him and put Hoffman into the centres.

On the subject, while it would be one of the most embarrassing things for the Broncos to do, and would essentially be the final nail, Thaiday needs to go. Once upon a time the Broncos were different to all the other teams and the off field politics that go with shit teams. Not anymore.

We've had the rape allegations (including Thaiday's name being dragged through the mud), management went against their own policies and let those involved play, we've fired a coach suddenly, and we've ruined the team to make a big spend on a player who was a greedy POS. Might as well get the whole thing over with and drop the captain.

The Broncos have gone from the prestigious club, to just another footy team.
 
That's it isn't it.. if we based in Sydney we would be just another Sydney club with low crowds.
 
I was excited about our culture after Hooks first season but I don't think our culture is that great at the moment.
 
I really think the team is lacking a leader, both on field, and in the coaching box.

Did anyone see Hook's presser? What did he and Sammy have to say for themselves?
 
I hope they don't use the first half as an excuse not to put in extra effort. I doubt it would have gone the same way if Manly didn't give away so many penalties.
