Corey Oates

Yeas, belief. Self belief, and also instincts working together. That's class

I really prefer Oates in the centres, which is why I sing the next Gene Miles mantra, and then later, back row maybe. As for wing, I am both selfish for the harvest of points he will reap for us, and also, at 19, and playing the house down in a position he obviously enjoys, is I reckon, good for his future.

At the same time, I firmly believe Oates needs to talk, the coach needs to talk, and both need to listen and hear. If Oates really wants to play centre he should say that to Hook and vice versa.

Also, the other variable is, who do we have for 2014 on the wing who will score as many tries as Oates, judging by his performance this year?

I hope it isn't Kahu. For mine, he would make a quality centre, great foot work and he is quick off the mark and can pass
Yes . When you see someone punch through the line as he does centre looks about right. The way he handles himself indicates he will do us proud with whatever number he wears.

When are the Broncos awards? I'm guessing he'll win rookie of the year, since Kahu hasn't been particularly impressive.

Kahu needs a massive preseason to make the team.

Corey parker, corey Norman, corey Oates . Am I missing any? This team was made for me :p

Oates has a wrist injury so he won't be playing in the under 20's final series. Not sure if it will effect his chances of playing for the Junior Kangaroos.

He will play on Sunday. He wasn't named yesterday but he'll have a fitness test later in the week.

Yeah there's been multiple reports on it, hope he does the under 20's will really need him.

I believe Corey Oates is like a better version Boyd Cordner and will be a representative player in the years to come.

He seems like he is a great straight and hard runner of the ball, maybe he doesn't have the agility for centre?

Danoz Direct, love your enthusiasm, but probably unwise to start comparing Oates to other players who have been around a bit longer. Let's see how he goes in his second year.

Yeah, it's too early to start saying he'll be better than Cordner, who along with Papalii, are easily the two best back rowers coming through under 22 years of age and are equally capable of playing in the middle as they are on the edges.

Guys I read a rumour on twitter that he may be injured ATM is this true guys ?

I believe he's still recovering from a major shoulder operation.

Yeah, I saw a photo of him with Hala at the Broncos leagues club signing autographs, his definitely had surgery.

Well the rumour i was hearing is he may be out for most of season. Hope this isn't the case

No he won't be out for any of the season, he will be ready for Round 1 2014.
