Zero if the Titans refuse to release him ...When nov comes around and if he wants to come back what are the chances of us getting him to break his contract and come home a year early ?

This makes no sense.We released him to them for his sake surely if he wants to leave they let him go early to start yet another rebuild for failure
If Taylor thinks he is worth 1 million then he is kidding himself.
63% possession in that first 20 and he couldn't get his team over the line.. Hunt, Milf and Niko don't have that problem.
Needs to add more than just a kicking game to be worth that kind of money. Develop a running game would be a good start.
Do you have the same opinion of Milford? I think they're in the exact same (although, opposite..) boat, and Milford has far more first grade experience.
Milford is an elite runner of the ball, has shown glimpses of a kicking game, no where near consistent enough to be considered a million dollar player.
Taylor is an elite kicker of the ball, has shown glimpses of a running game, no where near consistent enough to be considered a million dollar player.
If they figure it out, they'll be the best 2 halves in the comp within a few years, I'd very much like to have 2 bites at the apple so to speak. If the opportunity arises, move heaven and earth to get him.
Absolutely spot on with this post.What for...? I'm not gonna get stuck into silly comparisons between players following a game where everything went our way after a pretty average start (not withstanding our fantastic defensive effort) in attack. Kodi was great, Milford was awesome, Hunt was fantastic, etc... besides, I'm still having regular orgasm spasms after watching Roberts' try from start to finish a few times on repeat...
Ash is not a flashy player, has never been, and never will be. But he is a player that can perfectly complement what we have, and fill a need for something we don't have, which unlike some people say, cannot be taught to his level of execution and forethought.
His qualities can be of great help to beat the really tough teams, which we more often than not, haven't been able to dominate since... Locky's retirement.

The main one was after his bungled grubber. For some reason he starts blaming somebody on the outside of him and screams at him for a few tackles and then on his way back to the line gets in his face. Very strange behaviour as the only thibg he could of been blowing up about was the player not running a passing line but Taylor was always shaping for a kick. He never once looked like he was doing anything else. I know he is young but after mistakes the lowest of players look for cheap excuses. Hunt has done this in the past and I use to hate when hodgo would do it. Hodgo it must be said only did it to others who made mistakes independent of him. So Taylor is not alone there and I'm not saying it makes him a poor player. Its just that sort of thing can be terriable for a team as a collective.I agree with Unbreakable about this as well.
Re the screaming at his own players, I will have to go back and watch the replay again (I watched it when I got home at 11.00 on Saturday night so I was half out of it) for the context of this occurring. But it may not necessarily be a bad thing, as someone else mentioned I can well remember Thurston as a younger half doing the same thing. It could be a good thing because:
(a) It shows despite his youth and lack of first grade experience he is not worried about giving it to older and more experienced players when it is required;
(b) It shows that he is willing to talk which is essential for his position, I would rather have a half barking out instructions rather than being silent;
(c) It shows he is passionate and getting flogged means something to him.
I can remember from my playing days that sometimes big fat forwards need a huge spray from the half.

From memory I think there was a large gap there, but no one ran a line therefore Taylor didn't have the option to pass. I believe that's why he was getting up his outside men and probably rightly so.
Melbourne have Cronk/Smith both on mega money, so why not? It's definitely manageable with the right third party arrangements to stretch salaries out.I just can't see Taylor coming back. The salary he'll want and be able to command will preclude it - bearing in mind Milf is on $1m or close to it. Taylor will get a mill/season somewhere.
I can't think of a club that has two halves on a mil a season each.
