He plays nothing like Tim Smith. Smith had a ridiculous long ball and a crazy good kicking game. Granted both are useless in defence but Smith looked a million dollar player in every aspect. His issue was off field concerns and Sydney media claiming him the next immortal after one year.

FWIW I believe Taylor can get there. His decision making is quite good (by way of not making the wrong call) but he just needs the confidence to back his running and passing game. Currently plan A is kick and plan B is kick it better. That's coaching and not giving him other options to work with. Decent squad and some support around him he could be anything

One thing we can all agree on... Tallis has 2-3 brain cells max... its kind of sad, as a player I loved him but he has taken all of it away with his post football bitterness. Imagine the titans won, imagine how much he would have went on about it. The broncos let Taylor go for his and the titans benefit, simple. THe sooner the titans get rid of bitter ex broncos the better it will be for them tbh, they will never shake the little brother tag until they make their OWN identity, rather then the "I'll side with the titans because I hate Bennett" rage they currently have

I was really impressed after Kodi dropped that ball, that he just shrugs it off, then scores a try not long later. He's a no nonsense, get the job done sort of player, with a lot of added skill and flair.

Nothing wrong with knik, great player but is lacking the fundamentals this team needs for the better teams. I think there is definitely a place for him in the team even if we get Taylor back.

Something is really stuck in my craw after last night. Ash has an ego that needs pulling in. Just rewatching the game now and his communication with team mates is disgusting, he is a blamer and a screamer. Anyone who screams at team mates lacks discipline and respect. His behaviour in the media also showes arrogance. Wayne could sort him out but the question is how long will wayne be around to infuence this guy in the right direction. Kodi on the otherhand is the complete opposite and everytime I see him in our jersey it looks right. I would hate us to leave a salt of the earth team man on the sideline for a petulant talented brat. Last thing we need is a Hayne type at the Broncos.

If nikorima is lacking everything this team needs,the rest of the team is doing a great job covering for him at the moment with an 8/8 100% winning record with record scores and the best attack (statistically) in the nrl... even factoring in the unpredictability a team faces when playing a team with a new halfback, playing poorer teams, the quality of the players around him and just plain luck that all the "nikorima isn't a halfback" gang can't explain-away an 8/8 record

Ash is probably being influenced by the Gold Coast way of life at the moment. Hanging with the likes of Hayne who thinks he's an OG wouldn't be helping either.
