I'm sorry but someone who wants to pay an 8th of a salary cap for a player in his 2nd season who is the number 7 for a team with the 6th worst attack in the nrl and 80-90% of his try assists off of kicks, and just scoring no points after 6 or so repeat sets with the other teams best defensive player not playing, and being a turnstile in defence and not outplaying any great halves... has... no... idea
Not saying he doesn't have the potential to be great but..... for $1 million you'd want him to win you a few games, not "potentially be great"

There is no chance we get cleary, laybutt will be locked up. Reynolds?? Pearce maybe .. and Maloney i would take. Taylor has all the skills he just needs Wayne's touch

The Taylor lovers need to remember that for every Thurston recruited as a potential great their are 7 or 8 Tim smiths, sandows, tomkins, craigie, Barba (and on and on and on and on it goes) that could take up this much of our cap... how many of the top 8 clubs have taken this risk, I can't think of one that has done this in the last 8-10 years

I just hope Taylor comes back down to earth a bit now along with his price tag. He'd be a great addition to the broncos game but he'd be the support act to Milford and should be paid accordingly.
