I think Taylor will become a great with the right environment.... but what Taylor has, Milford can learn-what Milford has , Taylor will NEVER have. Surely even the staunchest Taylor lover can deny that

There are so many variables to their development.... but for pure footballing ability Milford toys with taylor, and it has nothing to do with tonight btw

We aren't exactly the worst side in the world despite everyone laying the boot into our kicking game
Tonight, Taylor was pretty much out of options
All he had was a grubber into the in goal
It's good for a repeat set but you need to get over the try line. I feel he just doesn't take risks like our halves. We run it on the last a lot and sure we sometimes don't get the result but we give it a fair crack every time

That's all he has. A grubber. You turn that away he has nothing.

He can't put a bloke through a hole. That's what great halves should do from the cradle.

To be fair, Taylor suffers like most halves do when his forwards aren't going forward. People have to remember that when they start throwing around definitive statements about halves.

I thought he was ordinary tonight based on the above, that said......this talk of him being the next Thurston is ridiculous. His next season will tell imo. I wouldn't be throwing the house at him until we see what his 3rd year in the NRL produces.

Taylor is a good player with a great kicking game... I'd prefer a great player with a good kicking game... I'm not saying nikorima is or ever will be this or better then Taylor or that Taylor won't become a great, but I'd love to see how many try assists are off of kicks (something other teams will eventually figure out) and how many off of passes.... I'm guessing 80% off of kicks?
