All good, I suspected as much.Sorry, o guess it's just wishful thinking. I got mixed up with white.

Fire the dude in the blazer, for starters. He's a knob for not getting approval and clearly helping to organise it. The Broncos players need to take a look at themselves. I understand them being happy for Boyd, but to not question the decision (especially the many other part-time Captains in there aka Croft, Glenn, Carrigan) is just poor in virtue. They needed to know to say something like "yeah, maybe not if we lose"
Adam Walsh- football manager.
I can't believer former SAS would even know what a gender reveal is let alone be involved.
He's done as a player and it's some pink smoke. He didn't lay into anyone or tell the media what he might think of certain people. He announced he's having a little girl. I guess if he threw himself on the ground and cried for 5 minutes it might have made better television but you know what? he doesn't have to worry about that anymore.Very poor decision by the Boyd's. Shows a lack foresight and a lack of respect for the club imo.
We disagree on a lot but you at least don't buy into the hate. Good stuff. It's just a fucking game. Sure, my emotions get bashed around when my teams shit but there's heaps of things way more important.I don’t particularly care. People would hate on him no matter what he did and a high morale is better for the club than the players being depressed and hating each other
Spot on.He's done as a player and it's some pink smoke. He didn't lay into anyone or tell the media what he might think of certain people. He announced he's having a little girl. If they don't want him around the club after this, then I guess that would hurt, but something tells me he will land on his feet.
Cameron smith scores a try throws a bird at Bellamy and Bellamy throws one back, then everyone laughs. Ive yet to hear their administration publicly call it a disgrace because I think they actually get it.
If we want success we have to allow players and coaches to bond organically. Part of that is things like this. We start managing the way players are supposed to react instead of making sure the coach has the freedom to demand it means we've lost sight of what drives success.
Give me a player that gives it all, that puts what's being coached into action and give the coach the power to sack anyone, the likes of Boyd included if he doesn't give it, then judge them.
Am I saying we had a great year? Emphatically no! but Darius was consistently one of our best after being demoted and shuffled around like a pack of cards. That counts more to me.
Next year is a new tale and Darius won't be there. Then we'll have someone else to criticise for not living up to expectations (probably lodge or bird, but possibly Turpin, Haas or whoever else we bring in). They too will cop the same crap and we will ask ourselves why they were signed, just like our 6 time premiership coach, knik, Blair, Wallace going all the way back to Lewis.
I hope we at least learn what the storm already know: that you set targets and expect to reach them or accept the consequences. Pretending to be upset doesn't cut it.
I'm not sure what you are saying, but it sounds like a former SAS soldier participated in insubordination or he was blindly following the orders of Darius Boyd and his wife, who are probably not his direct superiors in the chain of command....Adam Walsh- football manager.

The club is already under pretty intense scrutiny. In fact, throughout 2020 the severe scrutiny has lead to major problems at and around the club. Surely they would have learnt by now that their behaviour in a public space (especially following a wooden spoon guaranteeing loss) with fans still in the stands would have made it to the media. It calls to mind the week of tears that followed the week of post-loss laughter. I think they could have done it anywhere else and in their own time and private space and it would not have appeared to be the thumbing of the nose towards the fans and the club that was the major problem of the whole season. No?I think its a convenient target.
Big fucken deal, he didn't hurt anyone, just shared a moment with his teammates after a game.
None of us would even know about it, if the media didn't catch it on camera and turn it into clicks.
Let him celebrate, it isnt hurting anyone.
Yeah amazing isnt it.... Hierarchy been silent all year over woeful performances on field , silent in defending players suspended for tackles that probably wouldn't get penalised for other teams....silent on their own incompetence....but yeah come out with a comment at seasons end....i couldn't give a **** what boyd did... Part of the disease in this club is gone... As always on his own terms... 2021 pre season isnt really that far away and yet here we are with no coach, CEO, same incompetent board and same deadwood impersonating "professional" Nrl players....Oh now Karl Morris has something to say? Seems like he’s picking the easy target here
Boyd was never the problem, just a scapegoat for neverwasbeens. Or you could be a better judge than WB, Seeplod and Gentle who all kept picking him. Even Gentle didn't have to but he did.Yeah amazing isnt it.... Dead right mate ... the season's done and it's time to start clearing the decks and bringing in the new blood that so many have been screaming for .. for so long. At the end of the day it is just a game, look back at other clubs who've had the season from hell and finished with the spoon and played on to win the glittering prizes. I read a lot in here and only occasionally contribute a comment. I'm a rusted-on member of the club and personally, I'd rather see a bunch of lads celebrating the stellar career of a team-mate as well as the impending birth of his little girl than a bunch of emotional wrecks sitting around weeping. Those photos of celebration show me that there's still mate-ship in the group and that can only serve us well as we move on.We disagree on a lot but you at least don't buy into the hate. Good stuff. It's just a fucking game. Sure, my emotions get bashed around when my teams shit but there's heaps of things way more important.
No one lays on their deathbed saying 'I wish we'd won the 20** premiership'. DB was loved and respected by his team mates and they know season 2020 wasn't his fault. He gave it his all and finishes his career without the regret that he personally didn't give it his best. I think if they all did we'd certainly have not finished last.
No doubt some on here will think the following line applies to me and you can go **** yourselves.
There are none so blind as he who will not see.
