Should have rested against those nuffy teams like titans and dragons. That eels game was a waste of energy for him to be out there as well.
Didn't see him wasting any energy in the Eels game. Hope he can get it right in the next couple of weeks.

Boyd just saying in an interview that his hammy has been in pain and hasn't felt 'right' for a while now, possibly a reason for his lack of form ?

If that's the case rest him for business end of season not short of fullback options at moment. And why was he able to finally bring the ball back with gusto something he hasn't done much for years?

Don't want to be seen as anti Boyd (like him as long as he is used and paid for his actual worth) he's good but if you want near a million a year (if you believe media estimates) and captaincy of the Broncos you need to be doing much much more than he has offered in last 3 years as a whole. He hasn't shown anything to suggest next four will be worth a very high investment (in both cost and opportunity cost of missing other options).

I think blaming an injury for over half the year is a bit much.

It's been close to half a season, his form hasn't been the same since he got demoted from Fullback for Billy in Origin, which was about 12-13 weeks ago.

I think Boyd is worth the rumoured 800k a year, but only on 2 year deal imo.

Boyd was one of the Broncos best players when Ben Hunt suffered his injury. The injury forced Boyd to accept more responsibility and the Broncos captain responded well leading the Broncos to six straight victories. It was the broken hand suffered in Origin II that set him back. After a quiet return in the Broncos disappointing loss against Parramatta in Round 21, Boyd's form has been up and down. He was strong in the Broncos demolition of the Gold Coast Titans and scored a vital try in the Broncos victory over the defending premiers Cronulla. That was followed by a below par performance against the Dragons and a horrific night against the Eels. That Eels game was the worst game Darius has played since his days at the Newcastle. In fact when Darius was having his struggles in 2014, I can't recall him serving up a performance like that, it was so out of character for the Kangaroo international.

I thought he was well on his way to redeeming himself against the Cowboys before that hamstring cut his night short.

I don't want that grubby little asshole anywhere near our club.

He's not the biggest grub and he's a god, he's got speed , knows how to run a line out to the wingers to score and has a handy fend and offload

He also leads with his feet, he jumps to take a ball and pushes his feet out towards players heads. He comes out when he's pulled up on it to say it's just his technique, which he's never changed.

He's one of the biggest grubs in the game.

Maybe it is his technique so know one mid air tackles him. But he would be a good buy for us IMO.

If your technique is outright dangerous to the heads of other players, you have to stop it. Unless you're Bill the Grub or play for Melbourne.

He also likes the little sneaky elbow when a player is laying all over him.
