Rest easy matey, it was not directed at anyone in particular. It was more an attempt to highlight how some people were quick to demonize the kid before they knew the facts of the matter.

I agree partly with what you are saying, but just count yourself lucky that you haven’t found yourself get started in all your 38 years. It can happen quite easily especially with the dickheads getting around these days. it’s happened to me multiple times when all I was doing was trying to do was enjoy a beer at the pub with mates.
Even one night at Suncorp I had a run in with some drunk wanker who thought I jumped the line when lining up for a beer, when in fact I had been standing in line for the last 10 minutes.
We have to remember that these guys are still teenagers and have to determine was he the guy waiting in line for his beer or was he the drunk wanker starting people because he was to drunk to realise what was going on

No I haven’t but have seen enough to know how fucked it is and that I have no interest in it. I think it was the fourth time my cousin was pulled over there by the cops where they through drugs into their car and then immediately demanded a bribe or they will take him to jail that really made up my mind. Fortunately he was already aware of how corrupt those ***** are so had his bribe money handy and ready to go.
 
This wasn’t important enough for a member of the exec team to fly over?
 
Probably trying their best to keep things as low profile as possible. The scummers around this will be pushing the fine up more and more as they realise what the have.

While I fully agree that the security guard has every right to expect to do his job unhindered, but did this really warrant a police arrest?

How could you tell from that footage. it was absolutely terrible footage which you couldn't make out anything.
You don't know if it was a slap or a fist.

I daresay they already have the price set, so coming in and saying well since you've gotten yourself arrested we're going to drop it by $100k, sign here please... what's that rorters and rabbits haven't dropped their offers and you're going to sign with them now...

The best thing we can do for re-signing him is sorting this mess out and getting him back home with minimal fuss.. it would show that the club is able to look after him when shit hits the fan.

The statement from White later today will be interesting to see what the PR team go with to spin it and set the narrative.... hopefully it's not one that throws him under the bus for a minor incident.

Broncos can turn this in to a positive. They can show David our financial clout and just pay a 4-figure sum to get him out of there ASAP and with minimal fuss. Get him back to Australia on a discreet flight, likely not direct to Brisbane as that would be too easy for the media (maybe to elsewhere in the country and then a private charter back to Bris), treat him as the victim while making sure he NEVER does it again. And make sure his Mum knows exactly how well looked after his darling son was by the Broncos.

Then they turn to the media, tell everyone how easy it is for players to get in bad situations just by being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Self-ban Fifita for 2-3 games to teach him a lesson. Remind everyone how rare it is for these things to happen to Brisbane players, wrap him in cotton wool, and aim "you all better learn for this" looks at the rest of the young players.
 
Waking up this morning I'm actually pretty pissed off.

If one of my contractors was openly having me in a bidding war for his services, while at the same time expecting me to help him out because he was in an Indonesian lock up past 24hrs.... Honestly, I'd be telling that guy -- you know what ? if you think you are so great and you think South's or roosters are so great, then how about you just **** off already.

There's zero chance brown paper bags aren't being discussed...And our club should be so much better than that.
 
Negotiate the payout with these dropkicks over there, get him home and make sure he understands how well he has been and we’ll continue to be looked after.

Anything less and you can bet a scumbag like Uncle Nick will be on the phone telling him how well he looks after his boys.

Is this fictional contractor currently one of the best in your industry with the very real chance to be the best in your industry for the majority of his career? By retaining this fictional contractor would it give your company a far better chance of success?

With all that aside though if Fifita has any humility or sense the first thing he should be saying to the Broncos after they get him out of this is where do I sign and how long do you want me for?
