If Titans have any self-respect they should pull their offer. if this is true ... and since it is Badel, i'm skeptical, 1 of 2 things is happening.

1. he loves the club and/or his team mates, is happy here and doesn't want to leave ... but is finding it hard to turn down the ridiculous money offered by the Titans (like i'm sure most of us would have at 20)

2. he read the paper when the Titans said they could go higher if needed, so he's forcing them to do that

This whole youth policy is really not going well for us. These boys are making poor decisions both on and off the field. And quite frankly the club is overpaying a lot of them purely on promise. No, Boyd signed for 2.5 over 4 years, that's 625 pa. The alleged offer from Tits is 1.1m pa which makes it 475k more. These are just unsubstantiated media claims as to the value. People love to say Boyd, Bird and Milford are all on a million but only Milford is confirmed.
