Dean youg calls Farah a ''f---ing wog.''

Let's let Urban Dictionary settle it.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=wog

Australian English: 1. a non-Anglo-Celtic European, esp. from Southern or Eastern Europe (e.g. Greek, Italian, Balkan, Slavic, etc.) 2. an Asian, esp. a West Asian (e.g. Lebanese, Turkish, Armenian, Iranian, etc.), but now also inclusive of South Asians and Pacific Islanders

I've heard Mediterranians (Italian, Greek, Maltese etc), some east Europeans and some Arab people (Lebs, Turks) referred to as 'wogs', but never south asians or islanders. That's just weird.

Same here. Maybe they got Wog confused with FOB.

Only upwardly mobile islanders are called coconuts. Brown outside, white inside.

Two different meanings in play there.

You can be a wog. Or have a wog.

The latter being a cold. hence, the phlegm reference.
