Yeah my big play was reliant on them staying and then convincing him to stay. Maybe I am not much of a card player.

This is completely off topic but I’ve always wondered, without giving anything away do any of you, @Wolfie, and @Smokin' Joe or anyone else around here connected to the club, have any hunches who each other is?

By my calculations Wolfe was just mates with Joe Offa in some capacity because he’s known nothing since Joe left. The timing of Smokin Joe’s disappearance suggests he’s either David Fafita’s mum or Peter Gentle, and if you assume his name is his birth year 1910 is Wayne himself.

I'll be honest, i know one player pretty much thats left here now. Used to know quite a few of the blokes from the u 20's team that made the final in 2014 and a few others that came through at that time. I dont really have a clue who anyone is at all on here.

Ha ha, i wouldnt say i am. I just get to know a few things ( less and less these days, well, about whats happening in Brisbane anyway ). Some stuff i've picked up months before things break in the press and i've told a couple of people on here. I personally think its peoples personal choice if they believe anything or not anyway from strangers. I was once told by a player still on our book that he was pretty much moving to the Storm only for him to stay at Brisbane. Things can change then if you blab it out on a message board you look like a numpty through no fault of your own.

Oh, and i have a Maccas card.

Tom Opecic I assume.

I’ve only ever had one scoop and that was from Tedesco himself (met him drunk) that he and Alex Woods were sure things to the Bulldogs. I blabbed about it on the internet every chance I could get (not sure if I did it on BHQ or not) and everyone basically told me to shut up, then when Teddy did a last minute switch to Roosters any credibility I craved as an insider turned to everyone calling me full of shit lol
