Do we still regret dumping Gagai?

The guy is a serial offender at such a young age. He is looking more and more like another Ferguson. Do we still have regrets about cutting him loose?

I don't.

Agree with Jeba. I agrees with the club for getting rid of him and his latest stunt just reaffirms that. The guy just doesn't get it

I haven't seen anything from his time at Newcastle that suggests we weren't better off without him.

So us having to play nuffies like maranta since he left doesn't sway your opinion at all?

These Gagai haters are nuts.

Comparing him to Ferguson is ridiculous.

The comparison to Ferguson is unfair, however there clearly is an attitude problem off the field that is disrespectful in its frequency of occurance and needs to be addressed not just for those around him but for his own sake.

Right now I still regret it. The acquistion of Barba and Milford are great but without the good fortune that has led to both joining us our backline talent would look extremely shallow.

And whilst Gagai may well be doomed anyway, I still maintain that no young player has continually blossomed under Griffin's "leadership" and I think that's a cause for concern.

Really, we've been fine? Thats why they wanted to recruit outside backs.

I wouldn't agree we have been fine personally but with or without Gagai recruitment would have happened, do you think the Broncos would have not recruited Barba, Vidot, Mills etc if the opportunity didn't present itself?

Mills prob not, vidot maybe.

Actually there's more argument both or similar level players would be there, Gagai alone couldn't plug the holes of Hodges, Yow Yeh and Copley's recent absence's because of injuries.

Maybe so, but there would have ben less incentive to chase someone like mills with a fit Gagai IMO. But yeah i mean it doesn't phase me too much he was let go, just think he would have added more then some of the others.

Maybe not Mills, as for Gagai I don't argue he couldn't have added more if he was there, but I question if it could be achieved, mentally to do so I think he would have had to have overcome his attitude to training at the Broncos cause really that was what was holding him back, otherwise a change of environment was the only other way to get the best out of him IMO. His done well to get to where he was prior to this latest setback and I'm disappointed to see old habits creeping back in, people really don't do him any favors by looking to excuses or looking for a scapegoat for him. I guess in the end its all speculation and really its time to move on as nashy suggests.
