Domestic Cricket 12/13

Domestic cricket thread means no one cares about the slog out World Cup

Two dads from WA has finished up with 40*, 4 wickets and 2 run outs in tonight's Royobi Cup. If he's not the best outfielder in the world then he can't be far from it. I expect him to be one of the big improvers this season.

Should be given exposure to the coloured clothing squads...

You talking about Coulter-Nile?? If so he is one of the best fielders in Australia. Should play ODI's for Australia this summer.

Queensland starting terribly (and slowly). Already one down and a team strike rate of 0.84.

Mate the run rate is irrelevant at this stage. 8 overs bowled on the first morning of a Gabba match under gloomy skies. Any mug can get a wicket with the new pill this morning.

Yeah, fully understand. Was making a comment more on what was happening than a critisism. Khawaja has got himself a nice 50, needs to build on it now.

Khawaja has a half century in his first knock for the Bulls. Both Openers are now out we are 2/100

Khawaja ended up with 88, good opening knock from him especially given the conditions.

Bulls 5/191 with Hopes & Hartley at the crease.

An amazing innings from Cutting (100* from 70 deliveries) has turned this match on it's head.

Queensland 7/370

100 in 100 minutes - uh-mazing! He's in form with the willow as well, from memory he's coming off a ton in first grade.

Phil Hughes on 96 not out at the close of play. SA are 7/165. I think I am one of the few who think Hughes will make it.

SA all out for 184.

Hughes finished with a defiant 95.

Hopes (5/27) & McDermott (3/23) the pick of the bowlers.

Bulls at the crease, 0/4.

Queensland made a quick 8/248 with Hartley 103* off 107 being the highlight before sending the Redbacks back in.

Hughes has backed up his impressive first innings with 40* with Ferguson just joining him at the crease.

SA are 2/60 chasing 402 more runs to win.

Cutting & Hopes picked up the wickets.
