Good win to open the season up for us. Not exactly an A+ effort as our top order didn't really fire (Khawaja's 1st innings 88 an exception) but our long tail & bowlers made it a comfortable victory.

Good game from Hughes too. Didn't receive much support from his batsmen but did well in trying conditions.

SA bowlers were pretty solid too, Sayers and Mennie had us reeling at 5/64 in the 2nd innings before Hartley once again saved the day.

Victoria kicked our butts by 10 wickets.

Wade & Siddle's partnership really turned the tide and Pattinson was huge with figures of 6/32 in the second innings.

If there's a silver lining, the Aussie players really stood up.

Bulls copping another belting in the Ryobi Cup. Bowled out for 189 and SA are 1/144 after 27 overs. Bloody embarrassing. The Bulls side is way out of balance IMO. Hartley and Khawaja are not the right opening pair.

Still not an ideal opening pair. Forrest can't buy a run and either can Lynn. Bowlers aren't even taking wickets. Strange performances so far this year I think.

Yes we were shit in the shorter form last year but we were more competitive I thought. This year they don't seem interested.

Bulls need like 90 runs in 8 overs.

Redbacks need 5 wickets.

We took first innings points so that's a handy consolation.
