Looking more and more like TAA is off to Madrid.

if I'm honest I'm not overly bothered. He is a good player and a local lad so he would be a huge loss, but I feel like losing him might make us a bit more balanced of a side overall. Plus. it's not like previous times where we've lost star players and it's been like **** back to the doldrums we go (Torres, Suarez etc).

If he wants to go, we'll be fine. TBH I'm more worried about losing Salah and VVD on frees.

Jones played really well, and I loved how up for it Nunez was when he came on - he won nine duels or something ridiculous like that!

Szob runs a hell of a lot, but yet again incredibly frustrating in possession.

Another loss, nailed on for relegation now. At least its taken 8 games for us to be hit with the VAR curse! We pretty much had an identical goal ruled out for offside last season.

Nunez was really good when he came on! Actually looking forward to Elliot coming back into the squad, might give us a bit more in AM (hope he's bulked up though!).

The tide has changed over the last week or so, if the local LFC journalists are to be believed.

Trent knows he'll never be welcome back at Anfield if he goes now for free. As a local lad we can't underestimate how important that is to him.

Here's hoping with VVD. Ironically despite my opinions of TAA's defensive shortcomings he was pretty good last night, albeit Sancho was absolute trash. How many million will be spent on this dude across United and Chelsea, 100+? Incredible.

I can accept TAA going to Madrid, most players would, but on a free is a rubbish. I guess we'll see what happens in the coming weeks. Would be kinda funny in a sense though, we thought TAA being besties with Jude would help bring him here, the old uno reverse huh.

Paul Joyce was saying it last week. VVD is the easiest of the deals, he's very open to staying its just a question of the length. of contract.

Very true but he's had a good start to the season. I wouldn't write him off just yet.
