I don't hate Germany, I love to beat them but I don't hate them. I didn't think many people hated them anyway. More people loath the likes of Italy and France I think.

I hated Germany when they played dour football and were often second best in knockout games only to sneak through in shoot outs, I love the way they play now but would never go for them. Hope Spain win and win well, I will be gutted for this super talented side if they get the wobbles because on paper this is a big mismatch.

Spain's bench has far more talent on it with Fabregas, Guiza, Cazorla, Garcia all more than capable of making a big impact and they also have the best penalty saving keeper in the game just in case something happens to Saint Iker.

Villa is out. Fabregas will probably start.

I think Germany's defence will be hard to break down despite the Spanish firepower. Klose and Podolski will be very determined and I think they will probably cause a lot of grief for the Spanish defenders. I'd like to see Spain win but I have a feeling they will stumble. Germany to win 1-0.

So glad they played well from game 1 right through til the end, they dominated this morning and should have won by more. Xavi was incredible this morning (BARCA REPRESENT!) there midfield is something of beauty and it shows that you don't have to have 6'0 tall monsters to win at this level even though it is heading more and more that way. If you have skill you can still win if you get it right, which they clearly did. The German midfield was continually out hussled for loose balls and run ragged by the beautiful short one time passing and the defense was torn to bits by Xavi and Fabregas who put Iniesta, Torres and Silva into menacing positions time and time again. This was the right result for football and I couldn't be happier!
