Yeah I think FIFA require a minimum capacity of 60000 don't they? And 80000 for a semifinal venue?

I do vaguely remember at the time the stadium was being constructed that they built it with potential to add another tier and increase capacity to 60000+, but don't quote me on that.

In any case, if they can't upgrade it to suit FIFA and Suncorp Stadium misses out on hosting world cup games, the blame should go squarely at the feet of the Queensland Government at the time that foolishly decided to upgrade Lang Park despite its tiny land area and being bound between major road infrastructure.

Caxton end, maybe. You can't really get rid of the church on the Milton Rd end.

Suncorp doesn't have enough seats according to the World Cup standards? Or something like that.

The church is off to the side of the stadium. Extending the stadium longer would not go near the church.

Dragons win, Bulldogs lose - Broncos V Bulldogs, Saturday night, Suncorp

Dragons lose, Bulldogs win - Broncos V Dragons, Saturday night, Suncorp

Dragons and Bulldogs lose - Broncos get the week off.
