Winners win.

We have won without Reynolds.
We have won without Haas.
We have won without Walsh.

This team is dangerous no matter who is in or out.
But man we are a force when they are all in.

That heavily favours Storm.

I disagree. Sure, it negates some of our champagne footy, but our forwards are far superior to theirs (apart from NAS). We also haven't shied away from the grind this year when necessary either. I think we can still drub them even in wet weather footy.

Can’t think of too many games we’ve played in the wet this year.
Penrith in Round 1 I think was wet, I remember thinking they can't win in the rain when it happened to them again during the year as well.

Just done a weather deep dive ha

BOM: 50% chance of 1-2mm but expected late in the evening.
Willyweather: 10-25% chance of less than 2mm between 4-10pm.
Weatherzone: 12-59% chance of 1-5mm between 4-10pm.
BSCH: 0.2mm at 10pm.
Channel Nein: definite tornado

Willyweather is the most reliable source there

Away vs Penrith - a few small showers before kickoff, nothing dramatic
Home vs Cowboys - light rain all game
Home vs Dragons - so humid it may as well have been mist
Darwin vs Parra - torrential at the end of the first half
Home vs Penrith - rained earlier in the day I think, field was horrific
Rest was dry. Suncorp's field was so munted for the first half of the season that we may as well have been playing on ice.

The "secret weapon" Brissy have this time is Walsh. Melbourne are going to do everything they can to take him out of the game (probably literally knowing them), Munster practically gave up the ghost to the media during the week, so the Broncs need a game plan that finds a way to prevent that, or at least mitigate their efforts enough that he can still weave his magic effectively enough to win.

The key to that is in the front row. Haas, Carrigan and Flegler need to just roll the dice with the refs and bring the aggression hard. Pound Melbourne up the middle so hard they're too shellshocked and desperate to halt them that Walsh becomes a secondary concern.

We have done this to teams this year as well. We can stress them so hard in the middle that there simply HAS to be space out wide. We can spread the ball quickly and with pace and hard running centres and wingers...it's try time.

Storm are no different to any other team in this regard.

Will Papenhuyzen actually start on the bench? Massive threat later in the game if he does.
