Sucks for Hoffman on two levels. Not being part of the finals and not being part of the Kiwi team.

It is a huge risk as FPN still received 2 weeks. Also Eddy Pettybourne missed 3 weeks for this tackle which is also very similar. Video Here

I think we'll take our safest option and accept the two weeks.

At least them SammyT will have some chance of playing again this year.

As good as Sammy is I think we can cover his loss much easier than we can cover the loss if Hoffman. Te'o or Gillett are very good players and will do a fine job for us. With Copley or gagai on the wing or backline looks a lot weaker IMO.

I'd be getting te'o in the backrow ASAP he has looked out of sorts in the centers. Keep gillett on the bench as an impact weapon. I have a feeling hook and Lockyer have a few tricks up their sleeves for this finals series.

but i guess the internals know the case they have and how it will be presented. if they're going to fight it they must be confident.

I think we've got them. There's a brittleness to the Warriors this year; apply pressure to the right areas and they can panic a bit.

We should have the Warriors measure. However I'd be very concerned if we get the Tigers in week 2. I'm not sure we're capable of scoring enough points to get past them.

The Sharks nearly got enough points past them to win.
I think we can beat the Tigers fairly easy. Only 3 of their 8 win streak were against top 8 sides (compared to 4 of our 6).

Someone might have covered this in an earlier post / thread - if the broncos beat the warriors are they back at suncorp vs whoever in week two (assuming melb and manly both win) ?
