Someone might have covered this in an earlier post / thread - if the broncos beat the warriors are they back at suncorp vs whoever in week two (assuming melb and manly both win) ?

If Melb or Manly lose and we win we are back in week 3 i think.
So pretty much a win gives us another home game.

We should have the Warriors measure. However I'd be very concerned if we get the Tigers in week 2. I'm not sure we're capable of scoring enough points to get past them.

We don't need to score a lot, we just need our defense to hold strong as it has. Plus once things don't go Benji or Farahs way they start to crumble.

As usual, defense will be the key for us in the finals.

I've liked our intensity lately so let's hope we can keep that going.

We'll score enough points to win as long as we can hold our own in D.

got my tix. cannot wait.

i like that the games a little bit earlier. the arvo atmosphere around the caxton st area should be good.

also who's gonna get HALA mad this week?

Gerard Beale, Dale Copley, Jack Reed, Justin Hodges, Jharal Yow Yew, Darren Lockyer (c), Peter Wallace, Josh McGuire, Andrew McCullough, Ben Hannant, Alex Glenn, Ben Te'o, Corey Parker. Interchange: Matt Gillett, Ben Hunt, Scott Anderson, David Hala

Copley on the wing and Hodges named..

Happy with the team, McGuire at this rate might push Hannant to the bench next season.

I can see Petro coming off the bench no dramas at all IMO. Sounds like he is out for 6 months with a pectoral tear anyway.

Hoping for a Broncos win...Warriors always aim up against us...Hope Hala puts a good one on Matulino too!

If Hodges is back, i really hope hes really back, as in run hard tackle hard, not take it easy in case I do my hammy again, if thats the case well put someone else there

And as for Hannant, his game vs Manly wasnt that great either, constantly getting handled, dont see him get much luck against the monster Warriors pack, but again, I hope he does turn out a blinder

Agree re Hannant, he has been average all year apart from the odd game here and there. His form has avoided any real scrutiny probably because McGuire and others have covered for him so well but he definitley hasn't played to his pay scale.

Not to make excuses for him, but he has been battling injury on and off all year. Agree he needs to lift though.

But has he been $400k plus good?

I think he's been excellent for us. Remember last year when anyone who wasn't Thaiday struggled to make metres?

Agreed with gUt. It could be argued that Hannant hasn't performed consistently to the best of his ability this season, but his presence alone has been a 1000% improvement on the puss served up by our front rowers of 2010.

That said, the front rowers who served up puss in 2010 have improved in leaps and bounds in 2011, especially McGuire.

mcguire has quickly become one of my favourite players.

also, feels so strange but i'm glad to be saying it, loving macca lately.

McGuire is going to have to lift again if we're going to roll the Warriors.

He needs to keep the aggression up but try not to give away many penalties :tsk:

I still reckon we're a really good shot at rolling them, even with Sammy and Hoffman out.

Beale looks at home a lot more at fullback to me.
