POST GAME Finals Week 1 - Roosters vs Broncos

Here comes the ash Taylor posts.

He would be an improvement, and i think he would develop much better in our system, but he isnt available yet, so its a bit irrelevant.

I'm hoping this comes back to bite me on the arse, but there is no way in hell we win a premiership without an organising half back with a good kicking game, and there is no way in hell we will win a premiership with Kodi or Benji as our number 7, or with Milf as our dominating, organising playmaker.

Team figure out Milford. Don't rush on Milford out of their line. he can't do anything. Tonight rooster didn't make same mistakes on Milford like cowboys did last week. The way he playing the game he don't deserve million dollar a season.

So we're all in agreeance that Milford is better when he's the dominant half. How is bringing in Taylor going to be beneficial?

Can somebody tell me what happened with the Cordner try?

NRL.com doesn't have a replay of the build up but it seemed like the players stopped expecting a whistle?

This is a shit excuse. He needs to take control, not be handed it.

He does need to, but he isn't going to any time soon. That's his mentality and one of his problems of the past couple of years.

He takes a back seat whenever he has someone next to him trying to take control.

Ash Taylor isn't a game manager either. He's a kicker. Not a passer, not a runner, not a game manger. Just a bloke who can kick the ball well.

I've seen him do it, both in his time with us and with the Titans. And at 22 i think he will keep improving. I dont recall Cronk or Thurston being the finished article at 22 either. Its something that needs to be worked on and developed.

I dont think he is tbh. He is at the moment for us because he has to be, but i think he is better with less structure in his game.

so fked off.. why do we keep doing this we had em even though we played like crap and blew it ...again....... Im going to try not to think about it so I dont ruin my weekend.. Till next week :(

they were all expecting the pass to be called forward ... and IMO if the two called forward against us were forward, then so was this one ...

Ofa was alright, Ese didn't seem to do much. He also dropped the ball clean in the play the ball. Every team has a dumb player who makes a stupid error each game but we've got 4 of them.

yeh he dropped the ball but he was solid otherwise - he didn't run fkn sideways or back into the ruck every time he got it like Blair and Sammy always do these days. Offa was the same - ran hard at them... didn't try to be cute.

Sam has struggled to match it in the middle for a couple of years now but every now and again he's on and the media rave on about it. Like they did when Sam gave it to JWH. I would rather the talk be about a guy that brings it every game and that's what we are missing these days. The only reason Sam is being asked to play up front is we have run out of options. Where's Wallace now we need him? A couple of years ago it was geez Wallace is a dork coz he had a drop every game but they need time to get to the next level... If not Wallace then whoever - point is the cupboard is bare if we've ended up with Blair and Sammy and Sims (when he's not broken).
We get these guys up to the level where they are ready..... and off they go to the highest bidder...
Moose is on his own and Gillo and Glenn work their asses off but we don't have a battering ram any more.
Think Pet, Webcke, Lazzo, Axe. Tonight we are up against Napa, JWH and the like that the other teams have.
Does Lodge finally fill that hole in the future?
For now it's Moose and the second rowers cause Blair and Sammy can't match it no matter how hard they try and how big their hearts are.

The players kept playing.

Just Blair and Thaiday stood there waiting for him, and he burned them.

and this is exactly why he really isn't worth the money he will be on next season
