That was just ridiculous from the Warriors.

Kata put in a dinky grubber for himself inside his own half re-gathered and had numbers on his left, they get it there and they put in another kick that almost results in a bobble.

Knights seem to have the momentum. Last 20 will be interesting.

Whoever wins that game will win the premiership in my view. Manly are on their last legs and walking wounded, the Dogs aren't really premiership material and I still believe Penrith are a little short of winning a premiership for now.

I tend to agree but am thinking Penrith have Soward and Kite - both premiership winning players. They have guys like Idris, Brown etc who have played in big games and Ivan Cleary made it to the big day as a player and coach. They're probably more better placed than Souths, tbh. They play a real grinding style perfect for a Grand Final. If they can get close and with a bit of luck, they'll win it.

Warriors win 23-16 and for the 3rd time in NYC history the minor premiers have been knocked out in straight sets. The other two times were of course Manly in 09 (courtesy of the Broncos) and the Bulldogs in 2012.

Not a lot between either side, Warriors just showed more composure, this lead to more opportunities and the Knights fell into their trap, over-playing their hand on multiple occasions which cost them points.

Thought the NRL stars were among the worst on field for both sides.

Stand-out for me was Lisone who really lead from the front for the Warriors and really looks like a solid prospect up-front. They've got a few good props coming through NZ and it will be interesting to see how McFadden eventually uses them.

Tuimavave-Gerard, Kata & Lino were the other stand-outs for me.

While for the Knight, I wa pretty impressed with Boyce's performance who played with plenty of ticker all game, Petterson-Robati who was strong in the middle and Togitasi. Feeney and Lamb had some nice touches too.

You can never write off Manly there are many top players at Manly and they know how to win big games. They will need a big performance tonight though.

You're probably right. Though there is still hope, Souffs have been huge chokers and Roosters have shown some real weaknesses unlike last year. Still hoping Panthers can win out of the rest.

Yeah, Johns obviously understands the game well, it's partially why he was such a god tier halfback, like Smith at hooker. It's just when he tries to be funny he generally fails.
