I’m curious, are people putting Gillo in the same basket as B+M because they

A) don’t feel he’s better than Pangai/Glenn
B) don’t want his contract
or
C) don’t think he’s worth his contract (this is different to B)

Gillo and for mine, Milford are unfairly targeted on here. They are victims of the diabolical ineptitude of Dariu$$$ and Macca, and the selection of Turpin at 7 when SOS was available, as well as the senseless move of Milford to FB to paper over the crack that Dariu$$$ is.

The only "redemption" for Seibold is that he can argue he gave the inept time to change, they failed, and now they have to go.

At a minimum, Bird to FB, Milford to 6, Dearden at 7 and Turpin/Seggy at 9. Seibold can then devise a half decent game plan based on a passing/running/support ... or else, he goes as well.

Dariu$$$ and Macca can be seen as excuses for Seibold's failure as a coach. They need to go so he no longer has any excuse and his true colours as a coach are visible to all.

Fifita and TPJ are clearly better and deserve to be starting from round 1 next year. That makes Gillett surplus to requirements and a waste of 700k that could be used to sign Foran or Croft or Sezer.

This. It's time to face facts mate. If Boyd is an overpaid busted ass, Gillett isn't far behind him. He has not returned from injury the same player, and it's long past time to be having a look at how he HE is worth.

Even before injury he wasn't performing good.
The fact he got resigned while injured was dumb.
He hasn't offered anything since coming back.
A extremely overrated player.
How did he get picked for origin this year absolutely confused me.

we have to face the facts head on; Brisbane has been for 30 years Wayne Bennetts club, and that stands even when he wasn't here...

His shadow permeates every corner of the club; it ONCE stood for discipline, commitment to excellence and a vast corporate knowledge amongst the players and coaches of exactly how to win, regardless of the game.

It is clear that too many have leant on that reputation and NOT strived to add to it. Its been taken for granted the Broncos stands for success, of Origin and International representation etc...what im saying is its been taken for granted and that attitude has seeped into the culture of the club with players and staff thinking they are far above their actual level and now are found out.

Im am embarrassed by this...I dont know what it was, slaughter, cause it wasn't a finals match..BUT...

We need the place to be shaken to its absolute core. The spirit of Bennett needs to be cast aside and to look forward now, no longer can this club be allowed to look back on its history and expect all that is a given.

The big question; is this the one...the biggest WAKE UP CALL WE HAVE EVER HAD...!!???

Seibold not even apologising to the fans for that utter embarrassment shows me how pig headed, inept and clueless he is. Plus, he doesn't care about the Broncos fans and sponsors and has too much pride to take ownership and responsibility for this garbage season.

What a complete dickhead. I have given Seibold the benefit of the doubt in his first season but after today's performance and not apologising to us the fans for the debacle today, the guys a joke. We are in the wrong hands. This coach will only take us backwards.

He doesn't owe anyone an apology for what the players did. The players should be apologising to him to the club and the fans.

The team choices didn't make us lose it's the players. The coach can only do so much to prep the team. If the players don't have backbone and your leadership group are more concerned about looking good and playing jokes on instagram your in trouble. Its like an old tree the outer rings look ok but the old core is rotten and about to give way.

Thats the problem with our club. Our veterans are vetrans of mediocrity. Seibold clearly said he is the coach and he took responsibility but he also said a few things i and the rest of you agree with. This club has been an also ran mediocre club for over a decade with a one year blip on the ECG. He seems to think people need moving on and if this game doesn't give him the green light from management then we are cooked for a few more years.

I already named them. I would axe them on wednesday and if they dont retire they can play q cup footy and will stink it up their. Glenn is probably the only one who i may leave on the bench. The rest are done.

I ended up sitting through the 80 just to see who had the ticker and mental fortitude to actually give a **** and see who would actually react to what was happening. If you judged both teams on attack alone anyone would have thought this was a charity match where the make a wish foundation gave 13 sick kids a chance to share the field with a first grade side.

I'm telling you at least the Broncos Women's team would have tackled harder. And at least got 2 points.

Ah well. Siebold with his one year of Head coaching experience was apparently the next Bellamy. Talks a good game with his stats and Harvard Business course probably had the ovaries tingling of Paul White and the rest of the "we hate Bennett" board members.

White and Seibold are mates and Rockhampton boys. Probably had the job before we even interviewed Madge and Kevvy.
