Form Trio Dropped For Folau

I'm pretty sure they'd be working on it rnabokov.

Generally, I have faith in the Broncos management.

Are they? Do you? Seriously, I hope you are right.

So who do we know is definitely signed for next season?

I have recently heard that the broncos are yet to offer ben Hannant an upgrade to his contract. I think this is absolutey ridiculous.

I read here that Hannant had put off contract talks until the Origin side is announced.

I think it was Clintos that post it.

If we lose Hanant and Ennis IMO heads must role. I don't want to lose either but to lose both is a crime.

My source from inside the Broncos camp tells me that Hannant hasn't even been tabled an offer yet. Apparently they are waiting to see if he plays origin, because he is expected to up his price if he is named in the team. The Broncos don't want to table an offer under what he is worth, especially when he can command more money from other clubs after playing origin.

I did a search, it's the 4th post.

Agreed. Folau is so not worth those two.

Yeah it was me. There has been increasing murmers that he is headed to the Dragons though. Hope thats all they are though, murmers.

For all anyone knows Ennis may want 300k a season.i don't think he is worth that. personally i don't think he even deserves an upgrade. we never got our moneys worth from him because he spent the whole time injured.

I personally think we should offload lockyer asap and free up some money. He is a has been. Great player, but his days have passed him and he'll never get back to his pre knee injury form. Teh money locky is on would be more useful retaining some of the up and coming stars the broncos have

Folau isn't even at the broncos yet and I already feel sorry for him. I get the feeling that if he doesn't come out from game 1 all guns blazing and score try after try, that some of you will turn on him and deem his move to the broncos a dismal failure. But I'm sure once he does score a few tries, the fickle ones will be back on the bandwagon.

And why shouldn't we turn on him, he built our hopes up. [icon_evillaugh

And cost us a few players. [icon_razz1

Frank disagrees. Give him a year or 2 and Folau will be the best centre/winger in the game. Give Hannant a year or 2 and he'll be good but not great, and give Ennis a year or 2 and he'll be on Home and Away and nominated for a Logie.

Good to see Stu has a crystal ball in two.

IMO Folau is almost at that level already.

And Hannant is, quite clearly, already good. In two years, I'd be shocked if he wasn't in the starting Maroons team and somewhere in the green and gold.

I seem to remember no one forced Brisbane to sign Folau (other than common sense), So to suggest that Izzy cost us players is garbage. The Broncos decision to sign Folau may cost us some players but balancing the books surely isn't Folau's problem as he only took what Brisbane offered him.

We'll see. Lockyer would be getting past it even without his knee injury. Have a look at other players who have come back from knee injuries in the past. It takes them a couple of years ti get back to their best. Lockyer just doesn't have that time any more

I agree, The. And back to the original post - after watching The Storm tonight, I can't wait to see Izzy in Bronx colours next year. Locky and Wally should start practicing their cross field bombs right now.
