I have been one of the people calling for Brunos head if Ennis leaves but I have changed my tune. There must be a reason why Bruno is willing to let Ennis go. Maybe a few of the young boys are rated highly or Ennis and Henjak don't get along well???

When you manage a playing roster, with a salary cap limit, you have to choose to keep certain players and not others. Its not done by lucky dip or drawing players names out of a hat.

Ennis must have ran over Bruno's dog. To not even attempt to offer him a contract is insane. He'll come back to bite us in the arse IMO.

What you guys don't realise is in the negotiation process, Ennis and manager would state what they want to remain at the club.

What they want, may be WELL ABOVE what the club a) think he's worth and b) can afford.

Ennis isn't a QLD'er and he doesn't seem to be the sort of player that will stick around because of the club's culture.

IMO, answer what he is asking for, and you will find why the club is POTENTIALLY releasing him.

I'm sure most of us are aware of the negotiation process. I think this just takes us back to the Falou debate. Ennis has said he would like to stay in Brisbane, so the only concievable reason for us not to retain him would be because of the cap we through at Falou. I'd say you're right Hammo, Brisbane can't offer what Ennis wants.
