No, the game most definitely was not fine with one ref, that is why we changed it. You probably thought it was fine when a player brushed the corner posts and had great tries disallowed. We changed up because things were terrible.

While I agree that it wasn't fine, as stated. From what I remember (And that really isn't much), it hasn't made it better.

How were they terrible?

Considering the reasoning for bringing in the two ref system, it has been a failure. The World Cup last year was a success, everyone was raving on about how good the officiating was for the most part and it's because there was only one ref which led to consistency throughout the game because there weren't two different refs with two different interpretations out there.

The state of officiating today isn't any better than what it was before the introduction of two refs.

When we had one ref we also had two touchies who made calls. Now we have two refs, a video ref in their ear, a bunker, Cameron Smith and no touchies making any calls.

That doesn't mean that this useless rabble the NRL managed to hire will be any good when they don't have another useless prick to pick up or ignore the scraps.

Agreed

By naming the 92 team it allowed them to choose Melbourne as the winning team, but the public sorted them out and voted Brisbane :)

Also, you had Alexander make the ridiculous statement that he played against that 92 Brisbane team and beat them, but he doesn't think he could have beaten the 2017 Storm team, therefore Storm is better

WTF?

Panthers got an early win against the Broncos in 1992 so his right that they got a win but there is a difference between beating a side working to get into the groove of the season and at their best which he ignores, Brisbane beat them late in the season when Penrith were still playing for a finals spot. lets not forget that even the Titans, 2nd worst team managed to beat the Storm last season. Worst team the Broncos lost to in 1992 was Penrith at 9th and even they were in contention for a finals spot on competition points.
