Both coaches are super polite, almost want to gift each other the game.

Are these really the best 34 players available? Wow.

No latrell? Hahaha the best player since GI. There will be tears.

Can’t believe they dropped Mitchell
Exact reason why NSW are so behind QLD
We always give class players like him chance to prove themselves and get out of their slump

7 changes to the NSW side.

I would have preferred Welch over Glasby, but I understand the rationale. Both players are very sound technically through the middle, but Glasby is less of an unknown and has experience in these big games. Welch's two big games so far have ended in abject disappointment.

Welch and Glasby would have been too similar, need a metre eater and as long as he plays exactly like Ofahengaue did, Wallace will be fine. He's more than capable of filling that role and outside of the one game where Kev stuffed the rotation, he's been solid if not good for Queensland.

I still don't think this Queensland side is good enough to guarantee victory, but they're looking far more likely than I ever would have imagined before the series started. It really comes down to the spine and whether they can improve on their effort in Game I.

I'm convinced Freddy picked some of those players just so he could have them maligned. They still have enough game winners in Tedesco, Turbo, Addo-Carr, Cook etc. to win, but I'm struggling to see a clear selection policy in place. Last year, Freddy changed the mentality of the squad and had them playing a more positive brand of footy. This year there seems to be a lot of second guessing going on and they're going back to the selfish players who let them down to begin with.

The teams are close enough that Freddy might get away with it, but I think he's made it a lot harder than necessary.

Dropping Latrell is balllllllsy

It's panic selections from NSW. I didn't think I would see that from Freddy.

Meanwhile in QLD they are only making forced changes but the changes they have made, I'm not a fan.

If not Glasby and Wallace, then who?

Duck or no dinner for Bad Filter I'm thinking. Subtle changes usually happen and conventional wisdom has generally had it that that was the go and mass changes, well that's a sign of chaos and panic. I can see that some changes were neccessary for NSW but it sure doesn't look like a stronger team.

Glad to see the old bronco Jarrod Wallace get a run and an older and wiser Wallace might approach this chance differently. Glasby is a workhorse who has done his job in the past so welcome home son, Welch will keep them both honest and was a bit unlucky. I probably would have been happy to see him selected.
