Although I think Boyd at centre is a good move, if it really is happening then why the **** would you drop Oates?

Because Holmes is a genuine winger and Oates is a manufactured winger. That was the reasoning.
Or you know what, screw it. JT is a manufactured five-eighth so let's get rid of him to get Ben Hunt in there who is a natural 6 because even though he isn't at his best right now, he can run and he's played for Australia.

I don't understand all the talk of Cooper and the 80mins he provides. Papalli plays 80mins week in week out for the raiders (only gets rested when they're routing teams) and is probably the most damaging edge back rower in the comp at the moment.
They should've used this series to lock down our back row for the next 5 years (Papa, Gillett, McGuire) and have both edges playing 80 each game
But is that because our pack of old busted men was being hammered and on the back foot for the game.Papallii played 57 minutes in game one, and for 30 of that his lungs were coming out of his chest.
Speaking of Walters being incompetent, the headline of Moley's scoops this morning was "If QLD lose game 2 Wayne Bennett will be the coach in 2018".
They kicked to him because they thought he was weak under the high ball. He then caught everything they threw at him and they changed tactics.
Right so Cronk is a manufactured halfback, so we should drop him despite the fact he has performed well at this level for Ash Taylor because he is a more natural halfback. Makes sense right?
Laurie Daley watches the NRL ? No ? When was the last time C Oates dropped the ball ?
Game plan was to keep Qld in one corner of the field .
I have a funny feeling Moose is going to play prop for this game.
