Mine is the biggest hand me down hodgepodge set ever including like 5 different brands and 80 dollar dented driver I grabbed from Vic Park when i first started.
Let me collate the monstrosity and get back to you.
Ok so I finally got around to this because I'm procrastinating WFH, behold my hodgepodge set in all its glory.
Driver: Retco Cx7 (I have never heard of this brand, I needed a driver when I first started out and it was 80 bucks from Vic park. Comes with a large dent in the head, which I can only assume makes it way more aerodynamic (lol)).
Hybrid: Titleist H1 816 (I rarely use this because I can't hit hybrids for shit, I never get any height on them so I always end using a 5i instead)
3i: Taylormade Stealth (donation from a friend who didn't like it anymore, kinda my 4i replacement as I broke the shaft on a tree)
5i, 6i, 7i: Cobra S3 Max
8i: Titleist 990 DCI
9i: Brosnan Taipain MK8
PW: Spalding era-1 EX
52: Callaway Mack Daddy (love this wedge)
56: Cleveland Rtx 3 (Also like this wedge, but not as much as the 52)
61: Titleist elk (I never use the 61 tbh and will probably take it out of my bag soon)
Putter: Cleveland TFI Cero (got given this last week by a friend, was previously using a brosnan taipan)
And yeah they've all got different grips. It's just a blast each week really not knowing what your club is going to give you as you're constantly changing feel between all the different clubs, grips, weightings etc.
Balls I just grab a 50 pack of yellow premiums from lostgolfballs. From the various ones I've used, I really like the feel of Volvik softs. I'm never using tp5's or any high end brand because I'll just pump them into the state forest anyway and never see them again.
I played with Titleist T350 irons at Torrey Pines and they felt super nice along with the Vokey SM8 wedges, so they are definitely something I will keep an eye on when I lash out and grab a new set, probably early next year. Happy to drop a few K on a good set that will last me a few years. Happy to take suggestions from those that have splurged on their own sets, I'll do a fitting session and go through a few and see what feels nice, but any ideas would be appreciated.
