Grand Final Meet Up

BHQ!

I desperately do not want to tempt fate, but seeing as we are in the top two, perhaps we should discuss options for the Grand Final, should we be fortunate enough to make it there. Just on the basis that it would be really difficult to organise it all if we left it until we were 100% confirmed as making it.

How many BHQ'ers would be going if we make it that far?

Would there be any interest in a BHQ meet up at the grand final, or a bunch of folk sitting together?

Well, if we don't make it we know who to blame.

I would love to, but the downside of being on a strict budget at the end of the year is not being able to go to events such as this.

Can't tell if [MENTION=1899]Big Pete[/MENTION] is serious, but I would relish the opportunity to meet the man, the myth, the legend! Still have my suspicions he is a robot.

Pretty sure final release of tickets is on Monday following the preliminary finals, so everyone would need to have their act together by then - SHOULD WE MAKE IT THAT FAR.

Ning, what a wonderful idea!

Just out of interest, would it be ok to bring family member (i.e Hubbie) along to any potential meet-up. I am quiet shy and have been to one or two of these types of events in the past and things have not gone down to well due to my emotions getting the better of me. He is now reluctant to let me go to these events alone.
Would love to get down to Sydney for the Grand Final and sit amongst all the lads an ladies to cheer the boys on :clap2:

I know there's at least four of us heading down granted we make it, helps that its a long weekend so you can drive down if you're unable to fly.

Been talking about driving down since becoming a member in 2008 :laugh:

This is from my hazy memory when I bought tickets for a St George supporting mate back in 2010 haha.

There's usually a pre-sale either on Monday morning, or whole of Monday (for supporters of the two clubs that have made it), and then either on Monday arvo or Tuesday morning, they go on sale to the general public.

I mean they always hold back tickets for release in the week leading up to the grand final, specifically for fans of the two teams involved.

The pre-sale is still on at the moment, until 10pm tomorrow night if anyone wants to chance their arm.

**** me they are expensive though.
