He looks like a shit centre, but looks solid on the wing. I don't think he's a star in the making like Coates or anything, hopefully can just be a cheaper reliable winger.

I thought Herbie would make a great FB and posted that a few weeks ago, however @1910 posted this in reply to mine. He's seen a lot more of Herbie than me:

"It's a risky move, he's never played there in his Queensland Cup career- his best football over the last two years have been on the wing, he doesn't have a passing game and he doesn't kick. He's very similar to Tate, he needs to just run and make ground.... ".

I guess wing is a specialist position and it looks to me that with Farnsworth and Coates, we have exactly what we need for our wings for the future. Can't ask for more

But he kicks goals and I've seen one or two decent flicks. Admittedly not a whole lot to go on but hey, you never know. I was always surprised Isaako wasn't used more to kick, he is accurate and has a decent boot on him, seems like a waste to not use that. It would have also helped take a bucket load of pressure off Milf.

Does Tedesco kick? Did Tedesco pass before he went to roosters? Rome wasn't built in a day, can't expect Farnsworth to be the complete player at the start of his career. Give him time

I added a bit to my post after you replied.

Given the way Herbie moves - his body positioning is excellent and I like the way he accelerates and beats his man on the outside, I still feel he'd make a very good centre or FB. In any case, you can't argue with his potential on the wing, and you can't underestimate the value to a team of quality wingers.

On a similar note, anyone see what thorn said. Love that bloke, greatest 2nd rower this club has ever or will ever see (**** tallis and his money hungry mate dogger). He said he loves the club and that if he sees or thinks something needs to change he will tell him privately and try to help, great little dig at tallis. Also enjoyed the dig at fifita seibold gave about the loyalty of herbie. Haas, TPJ and lodge all took massive unders (bigger percentage-wise then fifita from all reports) to play with their mates at this powerhouse of a club with a proud history and 100× more fans then the titans could ever hope to have. Yes they make mistakes just like other players but all 4 of those players put in effort and have passion for the club, bring in dearden, Coates, staggs, carrigan, flegler and turpin for the ride (who all have passion for the club as well) and build on that. Ffs it is there in front of us still!
 
that's the thing - it's still there, the Broncos are a sleeping giant. We haven't been good for a long time now, but we will come good
